You guys wanted him back in the summer, when you had the money from Pitman around. Nout came of it, but I'm not surprised to see you're still interested. Now you have the money to give us a fair deal for Benyon (I think you've made over a million through Pitman and McQuoid?).

As said, 100k would be the minimum that we should accept, but whether the board do is a different matter.

Howe seems to be doing very well at Bournemouth so I think (from elliot's point of view) it would be a good move. Of course we all want him to stay, but if we could get up to £150k for him, then the cash would be important and give us some to buy a replacement. They obviously have the resources to bring him in after the sales of Pitman and Mcqoid.

It's interesting to see his record of starts with the goals he's scored;

07/08; 5 starts 5 goals.
08/09; 18 starts 11 goals.
09/10; 34 starts 14 goals.
10/11; 21 starts 13 goals.

I know some goals were scored on sub appearences but you really can't fault that record and him deserving to play at a higher level.

I know its not a million miles away from torbay, but I'm sure I read in the Herald that the boys reported for training on Sunday didn't they?

If Bournemouth are going to pay 100-125k and maybe a sell on clause then as a fan i would be happy and would also think it will our club little choice but except,i would also wish Benners well.

I totally agree with that.

However - this thread does look to me like it has been started from the basis of nothing more than a rumour.

Sounds more and more like a rumour with each post you make!

Time will tell on this I guess and if true - hopefully we will get what he is worth if you have had such a influx of money.

Witnessed by a VP (Vice President of the club) usually very reliable

You witnessed this in person?
Like I say just a rumour until something more solid than 'heresay' is presented!

Was seen at Dean Court on Sunday with another guy (agent?) our lads where training and spent 2 hours at the ground a good move for him with a palyoff place up for grabs, seems to know where the net is which is what we need after selling our 2 strikers Pitman and Mcquoid and netting over £1.3m
