Things have changed since then though and I'm pretty certain it wouldn't be anywhere near as much fun a second time around. And I don't think we'd bounce back into League 2 within a relatively short time again either.
There's a little way to go this season yet, so hopefully the new man in charge will be able to make a difference and put an end to this terrible run of form we're experiencing.
I too enjoyed the BSP Seasons and like you say Setanta was an added bonus. It doesn't seem to get the same coverage now and in addition there seem to be far more ex-league clubs than when we were in there previously. Last time, I think we were just grateful to exist and there was a sense of optimism and freshness with the new direction the club was taking and of course, Buckle and all the new players.
It wouldn't be like that, if we went down again. We would be like Hereford or Cambridge - stuck there until people started saying that wE were punching above our weight to even be a BSP team.
It is imperative that we do not go down, because this time it really would mark the end.
