Thanks austrianandygull for your nice words.
I also hope that you do not experience any problems but if you do then please let me know.
I am at the Club as General Manager with specific responsibility to oversee the Grandstand project but fundamentally I am here as a TUFC fan.
Best wishes,
Andrew

Three cheers for Andrew Candy. I've never met him, have no idea what he looks like or in what capacity he works for TUFC but i do know that i have read many posts on various forums from him actually listening to fans problems and ACTUALLY getting something done about them and helping. I hope i never have cause to contact you Andrew as it obviously indicates i don't have any problems but if i did it is reassuring to know that somebody like your good self is out there working on behalf of the yellow army. Thanks and keep up the good work.

There is still much to be achieved in terms of customer care so if you do experience any difficulties please let me know and I will do my best to help.
Thanks again.
Andrew

yes - now get someone who answers the phone to show some common sense. Trying to get any sense out of anyone last night as to whether the game was on or not was a joke.

Andrew that is great news and shows everyone that all it takes is someone to liase with fans for problems to be resolved, once again you've come to the rescue of a fan with a genuine cause for concern, thanks very much.

Hi Denspad,
I saw this so thought I would respond quickly so that commonsense can prevail.
If you come to Main Reception on Saturday and see Peter Legge he will exchange your tickets in the Family Stand for tickets in the Popside. If you have any problems, please ask for me.
If you can arrive before the mad rush starts around 2.00pm, that would be appreciated.
Regards,
Andrew

It would probably receive a faster response if you emailed him.

Family Stand to Popside Transfer Not Allowed

by tauntongull » 26 Oct 2011, 09:37

All,

I spoke to the club reception last night and said I wanted to bring three friends with me to the Hereford game on Saturday. We have season tickets in the family stand and I asked if we could simply go in with our family stand tickets into the Popside just for Saturday's game to be with our friends. The reason for the move to the popside is that with the other stand closed, there is no seating near us in the family stand where we could put our friends. This coupled with the fact that specific seats are being allocated, means we cannot guarantee we will be anywhere near them.

Now, foolishly I thought, well they can sell our season ticket seats on Saturday for someone who might really want them and allow us passage into the Popside on our season tickets without having to pay again. Well, our strange rules rear their head again and it would appear that I cannot do this. Therefore I have two options. Sell my own and my sons season ticket outside the family stand (although I am sure if I read the small print they are probably not transferable!) and walk around and then pay on the popside turnstile or go into the popside with my friends and pay again for the privilege.

I have to say I am really annoyed. Given I am bringing 3 extra fans, you would have thought the club would have helped us do this. Clearly not.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can work around this or who to speak to to try and get some common sense to prevail?

Regards,

AWJ.
