Cheers Andy.

I think the travelodge is a good shout, as I didn't really want to carry my stuff all over London after the game.

There is a big Travelodge in the middle of Kingston, just down the hill from Kingsmeadow. Don't bother staying in Wimbledon, especially since trains aren't that plentiful (every 30 mins) from Norbiton (closest station) to Wimbledon.

You can get a couple of different buses from Kingston to Heathrow as well (111, 285) and they are both 24 hour services - the Travelodge is right around the corner from the bus station (as well as Kingston BR)

I am looking to stay in the area after the Wimbledon game on 18th September, and am looking for any capital based gulls to recommend somewhere to stay, either in the Kingston or Wimbledon area.

The 2nd option I have is travelling to Heathrow after the game and staying there, although I have no idea how easy/cheap it would be to get there.

Cheers guys...
