Torquay vs Notts County (Play Offs) 12/06/2021 Midday KO

Great result, great passion, superb advert for lower league football and what a difference a crowd makes!!

Wright, what a hero. 90 mins after coming back from a layoff. Asa Hall putting himself on the line to score.

Absolutely buzzing now!!

29 May 2021. Who will be Top of the National League?

The one thing in our favour is that Hartlepool can still get third, which would mean that they, along with us/Sutton would get a bye to the playoff second round and play at home.
So, we know they will be trying their hardest on Sunday.
That is pretty much the only positive I can find right now!

Just how good has Asa Hall been this season?

He’s on a par with Lee Mansell for best midfielder/captain we’ve had in the last few years 😉

Goodbye GJ?

Jeez, have we lost the ability to have a laugh? Seriously, look at what I said.

I never advocated the sacking of Gary. We’re in third place for goodness sake. It did get some people talking though, and united us all again.
I was laughing when I typed it out and then went back to “working from home” (watching Cheltenham).

I did think I was going to snag a few more but couldn’t wait any longer for fear that some of you may actually think I was being serious. I think lockdown has made some of us slightly madder and lose the ability to laugh.

Goodbye GJ?

Is it time for us to discuss whether we should be replacing the manager?

Our form is that of relegation - yes I know we’re third in the league, but we are only going one way at the moment and have suffered some embarrassing defeats recently.

The team looks like it’s lacking motivation, Gary seems to blame everybody but himself, the players he brings in on loan either don’t play or are crap and for some reason he can’t seem to turn it around.

I get that we have injuries and that they have decimated our team but a manager of such stature should be able to do something to halt the slide, yet he seems bereft of ideas.

The age old question is, I guess, if we got rid who would we replace him with. Who is out there who could do better. The answer is, probably, nobody, but it doesn’t alter the fact that there are serious issues right now and serious concerns amongst supporters.
How long do we give him before we say enough is enough?

Boxing Day Fixture v Yeovil Town FC

culmstockgull wrote: 24 Dec 2020, 18:30 Just watched the highlights from their last three games and it will not be as easy as our relative positions would suggest, their forward line is big and experienced and Dagnall if he plays will bully our centre half's , their back four is their weakness so we need to get at them.
Plus they’re nice and fresh having had some games cancelled....

The Dee-dars, Sheff Utd, hardly got mentioned when they were promoted to the PL, but of course as soon as Dirty Leeds managed it last season, loll and behold we have nearly the full half-hour programme banging on about it.... :@
Bloody dirty Leeds. Hate them with a passion.
Their fans are self entitled bellends too
