Re: Torquay United vs Oxford United
Think this match will be won, or lost, at the back today, if Scotty can shake off the sloppy goal syndrome I've every faith in Wroe Benyon and Zebs to put a couple in the back of the net.

Re: Rose leaves, Hemmings is staying...
Glad to hear we're keeping Oastler on, preferred Rose to Hemmings because of that superb goal he scored against...Morecambe?
Anyway hemmings has a bit of pace though I fear he's a jake thompson type, he can run and run and run but can't put the ball in the net..

Re: Out of the playoffs..
As long as we finish above Lincoln and in the top half of the table, I'd count this season as a success.

Re: Best and Worst of 2010
Being a lincolnshire lad, that Grimsby match was brilliant! Took two of my neutral mates along and they loved it, we destroyed the mariners and secured safety, the gulls won a few fans that day.
Worst match for me was probably the Lincoln at home match, as previously said Somma just outclassed our midfield and defence, and we did well to score 2 and make the result less embarrasing than the display.

I was in Saint James park last night for a carol concert, their pitch is covered in snow, how is the match still on?

Admitedly i'm annoyed that we didn't get it, football coming home et al, but I'm quite happy it being in Russia, in fact, I smell a job opportunity!

Re: Pre Match Entertainment?
Don't care about cheerleaders or any of that, much rather be able to buy me a good pasty at plainmoor than spectate pre match entertainment.
That said its good to see the club try! Those girls must have been bloody freezing!

I'm sorry but that has no merit whatsoever, could very easily have been copied off this board!
I think if anything we'll see him leave in January.

Re: Goals from outside the box...
All it takes is for an opposition manager to tell his lads to have a pop from outside the box... That said, he's fought to get himself fit for this club and you really feel his presence.
