Hell yes we can beat relegation and i'd say that at this moment in time, it is more than likely. I don't think we should fear anyone we play now. Just look at Braintree beating Cheltenham last week. We shut them out without too much trouble.
It's not a done deal though and we will be punished for complacency. Can't see Nicho allowing that though. Looking forward to the end of the season and the completion of perhaps one of our greatest of great escapes.

Takeover of the club at an advanced stage
I wonder if this could be the board members that resigned shortly after taking over? Someone who knows them told me they were taking a step back as they weren't comfortable with some of the things that were happening at that time. They were apparently still interested in owning the club, just not as part of that set up.
Pure speculation mind you but as nobody seems to be suggesting who it might be, just thought I'd put it out there. The person who told me would have no reason to lie.

Takeover of the club at an advanced stage
The key figure is the previous financial year (31/05/14) showed c.£1.3m owed to creditors and this now (31/05/15) stands at just £5k! This I presume (the published accounts are not particularly detailed!) is the money pumped in by Thea being written off. The club is indeed now virtually debt free.

Torquay United v Braintree Tue-8th
Good result against a side I didn't realise were in the playoffs.
I saw plenty of things to be positive on Tuesday but the biggest thing for me was that we are now competing. I don't think anyone would have been too surprised had we lost that one but it shows how organised we are now that we managed to hold out against a quite lively Braintree side.
It was the first chance for me to have a look at Harrad as well and I must say that I am impressed. Even though the ball didn't quite fall for him or his legs didn't quite get him where he needed to be, he made what I thought were intelligent and positive choices with his runs and lay offs.
I think we will be alright if we keep this performance level up for the rest of the season.

Bognor Replay or no Replay?
I voted no as a replay back at ours will give us much needed income.
Think of a trophy gate of 1,200 * £10 per person = £12k. Ok, you may drop a few hundred off the rearranged league fixture but it won't be 1,200! We are not in a position to be turning down money of that magnitude. Even 500 people @ £10 will £5k.
That could make the difference when we are trying to sign that player that will take us forward next season. It's a no brainer.

I don't think this article particularly thumbs it's nose to TUST at all.
It is the club trying to proactively engage with fans and the more ways they do this, the better. They recognise issues of the past and are looking to understand them and make sure they don't happen again. Assuming all the answers lie within TUST would be folly and the club should be praised for recognising this.

Flybe do flights to Exeter from Glasgow and Edinburgh. 1 hour flight followed by a 30 min drive and you'll be in Torquay. Beats the hell out of a hellish car / train journey!

Loving the white shirts with the yellow and blue sash/stripes.
Yellow fading into blue is ok but I wouldn't personally want to wear it.

It's all about forward momentum and we appear to have some going into the part of the season that could make our break us. Good stuff TUFC and keep doing what you're doing Kevin Nicholson as it appears to be starting to work. Onwards and upwards.

Turn Around in Club Fortunes
I'm think we've showed enough potential over the last few games to be quietly confident. With the apparent turnaround in form over the Christmas period and the new faces that have come in, things are setting up nicely for a good end to the season. The fact we've got rid of some of the underachievers without having to pay them off is also a great help.
One thing's for sure, it will be a roller coaster to the end and that is why we all love being supporters of this club. COYY!

Good signing and will compliment our current roster nicely. Nice to have options to change things around in an area we have been woefully lacking in for a while.
A couple more additions to midfield and we will be there or thereabouts I reckon.
