Re: Match off
If the Devon Bowl IS postponed, it might end up reverting to Plainmoor ? It was supposed to be at Home Park to preserve our pitch for the Rovers match!

Re: players
Right now, I think lots of us are just turning round & making our journeys home again (some very lengthy) & are coping with our disappointment after the big build-up to today. Not everybody will be able to get to the rearranged match. Time for thinking about contracts perhaps, but it's not up to the Yellow Army!

Re: Match off
Not only the Bees fans Gloster; as far as I know Popside Joe got all the way to Torquay today from Manchester, & a lot of us travel quite considerable distances. My friends on the Bench had already arrived from Plymouth & Newquay, & I was well on my way before I heard about it on Radio Devon at 2.10. Feel sorry for everybody involved; not going to be easy to fit this one in now, & not going to get the support it would have got today. Tues 23rd is Devon Bowl Final at Home Park, & pitch may not be ready by Tues 16th.Glostergull wrote:wayhay, now maybe I will get a chance to go to the re arranged match. Felt really rough today. Poetic justice. God knew I felt rough and staved the match off unitll i was better. Now find out when the new date is.
Gotta feel sorry for the bees fans though.all that way and it's wet. Not even a chance of a kick about on the beach

Re: Plainmoor is my Mecca
I've already offered WLG a lift from Exeter Services if he could get there (possibly by National Express, cheaper than the train).Haven't heard from him, but if that's useful to anybody else, I shall be there about 1.30 on Saturday & can take up to 4 passengers, & return to there after the game. This cabby doesn't have a big mouth, so I shan't need anyone to do a runner! (AustrianAndy's comments, I believe!)But good luck with finding Paul.

Re: Afternoon all Gashead in peace
As I Posted on another thread, we already know that some Rovers fans have bought up tickets in Home areas. I got shot down in flames when I said that the Ticket Office girls told me that any away fans shouting in Home areas or wearing Away colours would be escorted out; others on here thought that we wouldn't be able to do that. We might have extra security or extra cops coming; I don't know, I'm only being the messenger! For Argyle v Exeter, they had extra mounted police coming down from Bristol & South Wales, according to Radio Devon. If people want to queue for tickets on the day & they're not wearing identifying colours, who's to know who they support? Incidentally, some posters have been knocking almost everybody at the Club, including the Ticket Office; never had any problems there myself, either at Matchday Office or Reception. And yes, my Exeter - City supporting daughter has sat with me quite often on Bristow's Bench & there's never been any problems! (I can't help it, I just failed somewhere with her education I suppose! Growing up in East Devon is something to do with her affliction, I imagine!)

Re: Gillingham v Torquay United - 6/4/13
Re Rovers...yes they already have purchased tickets in the home sections. Yes, they know about that at Plainmoor. Ticket Office girls told me last week that if they display colours or shout, they will be escorted out.
