Winchester City- sore losers?

Teigngull wrote: 26 Oct 2018, 12:06 Goes with the territory I'm afraid, it's the Hampshire attitude too far east to be classed as a ' fik yokel ' but alas too far west to disassociate themselves with the ' fik yokels' as well.
Sad .

FA Cup

MellowYellow wrote: 23 Oct 2018, 14:26 I did not raise it :|
Sorry - was talking directly to 'Arry'! I was agreeing with you it was a pointless point/post to make!

I care not if it was correct or incorrect grammar and I suspect so do 99% of the other posters who wanted to read a thread about the FA cup!

FA Cup

MellowYellow wrote: 23 Oct 2018, 13:57 Yes - Why?

Commonly, adjectives that contain only one syllable or end in 'y' use 'er' to form comparatives and 'est' to form superlatives.

Therefore, Richinns is using the comparative adjective 'happier' to compare two things e.g. Torquay v Woking and not the superlative 'happiest' to compare a group of more than two things.

Here endeth a pointless topic.
Then why raise it in the first place?

No one gains anything other from it other than reinforcing the view that you are self-righteous annoyance who is only here to feed ones ego - and has little else to contribute other than this.

FA Cup

Out of the two clubs we will be by far the happiest with the outcome so when you look at it like that we should be positive about our chances.

MOTM - Winchester City

Gulliball wrote: 20 Oct 2018, 19:03 This feature does only run for league matches, as it has since the very start in 2010.

No harm in having a thread for opinions though. I always think it's a handy overview for anyone not able to be at the game.
Agreed - just didn't like them chatting shit about you Gulliball ;-)

brucie wrote: 02 Sep 2018, 17:41 Mr Owers had to sign players on loan as he has four regular first teamers out injured and with a small squad that's alot to cope with. Bristol City might recall those players - that's just one of these things hardly worth moaning about though.

HH obviously blew themselves out in the first half and in the second half it seems were found out completely as people have said they were outplayed.

People moan because Owers brought in Bass instead of the other keeper and he has been excellent. Look at the fuss that Richinns made because Owers signed Edwards and in particularly Andrews.

It seems to me that you and your little crew actually wanted Torquay to lose yesterday so you could partake in another round of Owers bashing. Where have I said that we will get out of this league this year?

Can't wait to see those goals scored by Jamie and the "useless" Asa Hall. Basically they shoved it right up your arse yesterday and you are still fuming that we won.

Absolutely looooving it.

You have no credence - isn't about time you came on told us what a great side Eastleigh are again. How they have 700 kids and their parents watching their games bla blah blah and how they are going places. What a load of crap that turned out to be now that their "sugar daddy" has fecked off.

Trounced 4-0 by Harrogate yesterday. If Owers is such a shite manager what does that say about Eastleigh as they have less points than do are
Yes. What a fuss. One joking picture having a bit of fun because neither players were strikers. A complete savage and prolonged attack. I must take my lead from you brucie.....the same man that attacked Ling repeatedly about being an alcoholic whilst he was in the darkest place mentally that you would never wish for anyone to experience....what a decent bloke you are! A true virtuous stand up salt of the earth legend!

Keep it up brucie! - I enjoy your desperate attempts to try to be clever...the more you do the more I enjoy you being shown as the pathetic bitter old man that you are!

lambadaboss wrote: 28 Aug 2018, 21:51 It is sad to see TUFC supporters condoning the behaviour in your match yesterday. It appears the club is going downhill both on the field, off the field and also from a supporters moral point of view. Not the TUFC I remember of a few years back. And not really the sort of club one wishes to try and help either.

Hopefully criminal charges can be brought against those who commit assault on club officials, for that is what it is. Last season over here, a fan at a particular match threw a cup of water over a coach at half time as he was leaving the field. He was banned from all football, charged with assault and jailed for 4 months. Perhaps such penalties may force some TUFC supporters to think twice before taking their frustration out on a professional who is trying to do his job.
Whose condoning it?
