Re: Amateur
The running of this club just beggars belief. After Saturdays farce this will go down as the biggest farce EVER. It is a disgraceful cock up of epic proportions. We are a laughing stock yet again. Shambles.

Re: Torquay United vs Hereford United
Probably get off their arses and support the manager for starters. Have not heard one word of apology from Master Baker and his merry crew who could not get 2000 supporters into the ground on saturday - a complete and utter feckin shambles. It was so embarassing it was untrue.
Benyon wasn't even Swindons first choice. They had agreed a fee with Argyle for Mason yesterday afternoon but the player turned them down. No doubt benyon was then hawked off to Swindon for a cut priced fee - and this after Baker clearly stated on the radio last week that Buckle did not have to sell any players in the transfer window,
Liar springs to mind.

Re: Torquay United vs Hereford United
Well the writing has been on the wall and this result was really no suprise after Saturdays crushing defeat.
One look at our subs bench tonight and that told its own story. The cupboard is bare. With all due respect to the two loanees, taking Benyon,Wroe and Zebroski out of the team has torn us to pieces.
Plus points - well we have Zebroski to returm and he is still a big player for us.
Negatives? - far too many to mention.
I am certainly not going to blame Buckle - at some stage we have to have to some backing from our board of directors. Selling our best players for sod all is one thing, but replacing them with a team full of loan players is just asking for trouble.
Much like last year we are now in a position where one or two injuries to key players will probably see us relegated, such is our lack of strength in depth.
Its desperation time

Re: Saul Halpin
He did not looked fazed but it was an odd match to bring on such an inexperienced player particularly as we had the jet heeled Hemmings who appeared to be the managers love child about a month ago. Mind you its no stranger than the Macklin situation.
Signed on last year after doing nothing when he was here on loan. Does nothing at all this season and is given an extra years contract. And is now completely frozen out. explain that one?

Re: FA Cup 4th Round - Torquay United vs Crawley Town
Pointless whinging about Crawley cheats - we could not beat them in the conference and we went exactly the same way yesterday.
We just about got everything wrong yesterday. We could not get the best part of two thousand people through the gates in one and a half hours which was a complete embarassment.
We gave Crawley 45 minutes start with Buckle employing the same ludicrous formation that meant we would never score.
And in the second half our players comitted hari kari .
Yes the ref was utter shite. Yes Evans/Raynor - we know what they are like blah blah blah. I tell you what Raynor was loving it - he was grinning at the fans as he went off at half time. He knew they had us beat then. He must love coming to Plainmoor - winning is a piece of piss for them.
Hardly a pleasurable day out and my encounter with a load of moronic stewards at the end of the match absolutely put the tin hat on it.
I won't be repeating the experience in a long while.

There will be more than that there - the game is being hyped like thers no tomorrow. Radio Devon keep running trailers for the game. Believe me this will be nigh on a sell out.

I will probably go but its going to be an early start as I reckon that I will need to be at the ground by 1330 at the latest.
I just don't want to risk travelling and not getting in.

Re: A Crawley Fan
So as one of those who is faced with the prospect of a long drive, having to turn up on spec and hope I get in, I should be happy that oppostion fans should be going in the home end. You cannot compare this game with Barrow away at all.
Space is going to be at a premium, its going to be a highly charged atmosphere, not to mention the two tossers in charge of Crawley who are quite capable of starting World War 3 without any other help.
Its only going to take one idiot from either set of supporters) to start a problem.
Its just asking for trouble.

Re: A Crawley Fan
Yes you are quite right - the unwilligness to make this game all ticket for all fans is quite frankly nothing short of ridiculous. Its about as ridiculous as away fans trying to enter the home end, which actually seems to be what you are proposing.
However peaceful your intentions might be, its actually asking for trouble. Do yourself a favour and act with some common sense - if you have not got a ticket don't travel.

When will the club ever ever learn? This game should have been made all ticket weeks ago. i am not now making the journey as I have no guarantee of getting in.
It is nothing short of pathetic.
