Sorry Mr Candy but your response is flawed as per usual with Torquay United and their inadequate ticketing arrangements for so called 'big' games.
I was sat in Block F in Bristows Bench which I think had the largest number of away fans in that stand in the home areas.
The majority had obviously had a few shandies before the game and were in good humour.
However if trouble had kicked off then your reason that they couldn't have been moved due to the steepness of the stand would have read very hollow indeed to all the children, woman and elderly supporters who would have got caught up in the incident and couldn't escape easily.
Please please learn again from your shortcomimgs, you are not alone as this is yet another example of this that I have witnessed in the last forty years plus going to Plainmoor.

Re: Fans getting angry.....
Yes this is by far the poorest seasons football I have seen in those 47 years. Only 3 perfomances have deserved praise being Aldershot and Gillingham at home and Exeter away.yellowsmiffy wrote:6667gull, surely anyone who knows even the slightest bit about football would realise that there is a time to give criticism, and there is a time to show support. During your 47 years, I'm sure there havn't been many seasons like this one where the team has been dropping like a stone. In past seasons of success, occasionally the players do need a kick up the backside, and for someone to tell them to buck their ideas up, but that obviously isn't the case at the moment.
The players visibly perform worse once the crowd get on the back. If our league status is less important to you than your right as a paying football fan to shout what you want, so be it. That's your choice. But don't moan when we're in the BSP about how the situation could have been avoided, as you will have been one of the very smaller pieces in our relegation jigsaw.
This includes all other relegation seasons during that period when we at least tried even if we were useless.
Are you saying that the players don't need a kick up the ass or be told to buck up their ideas? Get real, they need both several times over.
Our league status is important as if we do go down we will not get back again.
If we do lose our league status it will be what we deserve based on our results over 46 games.
As a season ticket holder I will have an opinion to which I am entitled.
I will also be one of the 1,000 or less still watcing us should we be in the BSP.

Oh dear I have just realised that I have been a stereotypical football fan and a f***ing 'tard for the last 47 years supporting TUFC as I fully agree with EddUK12. I apologise to all those who know and love me as I am a bad person.

Poke looked very lacking in confidence. Leadbitter, Morris and Jarvis were all worrying.
Craig for Eunan please, he looks quality.

Bring in McDonald and start with Ellis upfront with Jarvis, he did OK at Hereford in the second half, can't be any worse than Tai.

Willie Brown or Paul Dobson would do nicely.

Re: JARVIS & ATIENO
As stated it's my opinion.
I was not only judging Morris on yesterday when yet again I thought his distribution was poor but on every home game plus the odd away game in which I have seen him this season.
If his passing was so good then surely our excellent manager would have recognised this and used this strength?
Stevens has not had a poor season, only the majority of the last 13 games since suffering his injury.

JARVIS & ATIENO
These two should start on Sunday.
Stevens and Morris are our weaklest links.
Stevens has been poor since the injury at Crawley.
Morris, in my opinion given how much he has played when not injured, hasn been our poorest player all season.
Give Jarvis and Atieno a chance Martin and give us a chance of getting to Wembley.
