Re: Torquay United v Sutton United 16/11/19
We need a number 9 like the one Sutton had. He could challenge for all those long kicks that our goalie insists on making and take so much pressure away from Reid who would score even more feeding off a quality centre forward. Please don't pick on Buse, effort goes a long way for me even if he isn't the most skillful.

Torquay United v Dagenham & Redbridge 21/09/19
We were poor today.
If Dagenham had a half decent striker we would have lost by 2 or 3 second half.
Another point towards staying in this league.

Torquay United v Maidenhead United 13/8/19
As I said after the Solihull match we will not be contenders this season and must be happy to stay up.
This is what I thought before a ball was kicked and the first 4 games have only confirmed this.

Solihull Moors v Torquay United - Tues 6th August 19:45 KO
Luckily some very early season realism.
The only contenders we were ever going to be this season were at the bottom not the top of the league.
The phrase bullied by the opposition has been used for both games so far this season the same as was used last season when we played badly. We need an experienced centre half and an experienced midfield enforcer to ensure we stay in mid table safety.
GJ post match comments were the truth with no bullsh*t and I have every confidence he will sort things out and we will be fine.

Realistic goals next season
The current squad would struggle in the lower half of the league nowhere near the playoffs or automatic promotion.
More investment please Mr. Clarke.

Not impressed with Hall at all.
He has difficulty in making the easiest passes.

Torquay United v Chippenham Town 08/09/18
We made our best start of the season until they scored then we were clueless for the rest of the month.
Don't blame their time wasting which started as soon as they scored we have seen this loads of times as we slide down the leagues.
Don't blame the officials who were dire, again the lower the league the poorer the officials.
Blame all the 14 players who pulled on the shirt and got paid for that dross from 25 minutes onwards.
Owers is going nowhere and we will be nearer relegation than promotion this season.
Surely we can't get relegated again, can we??
I can see nothing to make me bet against it at present.

I am well aware we are a non league team and are crap.
I totally agree we a former league team and should never consider ourselves a so called big club, how the hell can you do this at this level?
My comment on beating teams with ease at this level is based on that we are still full time and should be able to get better quality players.
If they are better quality they certainly aren't showing it yet!!

We won but overall were still poor.
Hall, Regis, Williams and Winter were dire.
Reid goal equals MOM, they had to give it to someone.
Only the two lads on loan from Bristol provided any spark.
We must still do a lot lot better and be beating teams at this level with ease.
