From this article and what has been said on local radio up here today, seems the Coventry boss is not too confident on the capture of Manset. The club at the moment wont come out of admin for another 5 weeks at the earliest leaving them unable to sign or give any assurances to new players/trialists.

True Royal but for me Steve Woods was one of our better centre halves in recent times, for what he lacked in height he more than made up for with other attributes. Sounds like Cooper is good with the ball at his feet and doesn't give the ball away much, so suppose that may balance out the fact he isn't the tallest. Ps perhaps he has a Kevin Hill jump on him!

Well as of 9 pm last night according to his twitter, moving to TUFC has not been mentioned to Jayden Stockley. "First I have heard about it!"

If Rendell came in as 3rd/4th choice striker competing with Yeoman I would see it as a great signing to be honest. When you consider what we had in back up striking options under Ling, he's a much better player than Atinio. He also needs time to get match fit, and hopefully he will improve with games just as Benyon did when he returned.

Yes agree, a nice bloke aswell. Met him at Nuffield Hospital Oxford last year, not sure what injury he had! We know he is big buddies with Benyon and they play well together so it makes sence!

Scott in as 3rd or 4 th striker, yes ok but not as our main signing to replace Rene. In and out of sides and becoming a bit of a journeyman in recent times.

Burton are a good little club, and are trying to put together a decent side for the coming season. A step sideways I would agree with, but not a step down I'm afraid. Lets hope he is pants against us!

No bud all I know is I'm getting dogs abuse from a couple of mates who are Brewers fans this morning up here in sunny Warwickshire, (they are over the moon) they thought the striker they were getting to replace Zola was Burton on a 1 year deal.
