Re: Modern Telly

the you view box connects to the internet so you can watch all the on demand internet channels so I player, 4od etc, hoping they'll connect it to lovefilm and sky player soon then least can watch the footie using it and my own choice of rubbish!

it also records and let's you rewind etc all the normal stuff.

Re: Modern Telly

tv sucks the only channel I ever seem to have on is Dave. I hate doom and gloom soaps, reality tv and the other bollocks! I can't believe what little there is to watch when there are so many channels. still least Dave's new red dwarf series is hitting the spot ;-)

Re: Stewards in the Bench - giving us a bad rep?

The stewards do seem much more stern this season, a friend of mine got told to stop taking photos whilst there too. However the ones I've seen seem to be fair and reasonable not met any of the jobsworths yet, I used to be in the specials police and you'd get the same there give some people a bit of authority and they think they rule the world! Thankfully I'm yet to come across that at Plainmoor.

Re: This time last season...

Each game I've seen has been different, some very scrappy but we've scrapped a result at times, and then there are some glimmers of very nice football which I've thoroughly enjoyed watching and has given me a buzz to keep trying to get to the matches! Not sure when the next will be though probably not until the Xmas run.

Bloody freezing? You've got A) a bloody cheek coming from Morecambe, which is basically in the Arctic circle and B) What, exactly, would you like us to do about it? Perhaps if your daft little club had more than a handful of fans, you could have huddled together and kept warm? If the cabling being used by the press causes you consternation, Sir (although I fail to see how, since the press box is miles from the away fans), then I suggest you take reasonable care of yourself, it's not hard.

If you're so shocked by a perfectly average L2 ground, then, as per Andy, might I suggest you take yourself off to Accrington, or, perhaps worse, Exeter's away end, or Hereford United. Of course, if L2 grounds offend you so much, Morecambe could always get promoted...

Signed TUFC 2012/13 team ball charity auction

Hi, I hope it's okay to post this here. My grandad was a fan of Torquay for over 40 years but sadly passed away a couple of weeks ago, his legacy of TUFC fans lives on in his son (my dad) and his grandchildren that is myself and my brother, we've had many parties at Plainmoor over the years and sponsored players, current one is Tom Cruise.

TUFC have very kindly donated a signed football to auction for MS South West which was a charity very dear to my grandad's heart. It's on e-bay and all money automatically goes to the charity when sold. Please have a bid if you'd like this lovely shiny signed ball (dad's promised not to play footie with it unlike the one he once had signed by Best & the team!)

Massive thanks to TUFC for this & to the players for tweeting it and their kind comments :scarf:
