Well that's fairly obvious chairman! Back to the player fund then!

Chay Scrivens
He does have pace have seen him in a couple of the friendlies. Was just saying, unlike last season we have no pace to bring on to change the game like Allen last season, hopefully this helps!

Talk of £100k for Gus. So £50k of that to pay back the loan from GI?

Looks like he is off. Was shaking the hands of the players and the ground staff in a goodbye type of way. Just hope that we get a good fee for him and that we have someone lined up as tonight's defending was shocking. Not sure how we went in at half time 2-1, Bath should of been 3 up at half time!
Alot to be done before the start of the season!

Retained list out!
I think he has lost his way a little since when he was at Cheltenham. He's only played 5 times for Eastleigh this season and got shipped out to Tamworth. Maybe won't be as expensive as he would if been 5 years ago... still only 31 tooRichinns wrote: Yep - would be an ideal replacement for Iffy but I am not sure we would be able to afford him if we cannot offer Racchi a contract due to the budget as it stands

Card Amnesty ?
brucie wrote:No that is ridiculous - what games have we no expectation of winning? - We are playing in the Conference where every team is either just above or just below being bloody hopeless.
It's only really Cheltenham that have really stood out for me this year, in terms of looking beter then the rest. With the football league payments they really should be! Other than that as Brucie say, all sides are capable of beating everyone else.

Torquay United v Eastleigh
The game reminded me of the old Crawley battles. They were wasting time right from the first throw in and the first goal kick. A stronger ref would of sped the game up and booked the keeper a lot sooner then 90th min.
But we didn't create enough and agree that Wright should play on one wing with Ajala/ Allen on the other

We may not have a choice RE fielding a weaker side as all of our new signings are cup tied!

Agree Kit, that we need to increase the non football income and if there's no cost to us then, on the face of it is a win-win situation as Steve puts it in the article.

It sounds too good to be true doesn't it?... an American building firm make first contact with the club, then pester the club to just have a look and there's no cost to us..... mmmm we shall see what further details come out in the future I guess.

Is a new stadium needed? Plainmoor to me, is fit for purpose especially for the level we are at atm and the predicament we are currently in!
Having said that, it may be something to think about in the future as teams with same sort of fan base as us, Colchester, Shrewsbury just spring to mind have benefited from a new stadium with higher crowds.
BUT not needed in our current position.
