Torquay United v Farnborough
Immense defensive display. As a spectacle it was a shame more goals didn't follow but it was a professional performance to protect that lead and we should really have at least added a third.

Well hopefully that shuts up the moaners for a few games at least. What a gutsy performance, entertaining and full of brilliance and farce. Crazy mistakes by both teams but each trying to win through attack. Excellent watch!

MOTM - Tonbridge
Some people's memories are insane. Only a few months ago we were days away from insolvency after a season of real actual dross. This year we've put together a brand new squad of very young players and we're pushing at the top of the table. All you moaners, please, get some perspective or perhaps reassess how you spend your Saturdays!

Torquay United v Tonbridge Angels
I'm surprised at the critical comments on here personally. Yes, it wasn't great but credit to Tonbridge, they were full of energy and defended extremely well. It is very hard to break down such a defensive set up and today the players showed plenty of endeavour but just didn't get much luck. They scored a good goal and also robbed of a clear penalty.
I thought Ash worked his socks off and put a real shift in. He just didn't get a sniff in terms of scoring opportunities.
9 times out of 10 we win today and everyone's happy. Fine margins!

TUFC v Aveley
Aveley certainly had limited attacking quality but I thought they defended excellently. The GK pulled off a wonder save and a DF headed a goal bound shot in the first half. Second half they put their bodies and heads on everything and we didn't get the bit of luck this week.

Agreed. Very easy to label him an idiot but what footballer is going to take such risks if they are actually aware of the rules / implications. I would guess that the training / education wasn't in place in this instance. The fact he stopped a number of years ago suggests he doesnt have an addition and instead, this was uneducated social betting.
I hope he gets leniency and a suspended sentence.

Wasn't he instrumental in bring the individual fan investors together? I really don't understand the negativity towards him at all and hope he realises it's only a minority who have that stance!RobinStubbsHero wrote: 01 May 2024, 15:40 Brodrick was a problem in the original offer. And he's still mouthing off today!!
