National League Torquay United v Maidenhead United Tue 8 Dec 2020 19:45 KO
I was stopped going into the ground with my flask and took it back to the car what am I going to do a 73 year old in the Briscoe Stand on my own.
A great first half fast football that Maidenhead could not cope with one of the best halves I have ever seen well done all of you. :~D

I am a great fan of Andrews and he has not been firing on all cylinders this season and believe he's been carrying an injury but yesterday he looked quality and he fitted into the left back position and floated into midfield when needed. He was involved in corners and freekicks and pleased for him as it's been a long time coming.
The Referee was posing whilst teaming up with the linesmen before the game and missed a lot of things going on off the ball but was grateful that he only gave McDonald a yellow card as he was a bit wild.
I thought the organization (Covid) was spot on well done the person responsible.

Streaming was poor first half it showed the first 6 minutes twice and missed both goals as it went again but now we've won it does not seem so bad Armarni looked sharp and a good game to give him a run.

Great result will do the players a lot of good I thought Andrews needs to be playing more central as he will create more chances there and is a little vulnerable when defending wide on the left. Randle looks a good player. Well done everyone.

I would like to mention that anyone thinking of watching online the quality of filming was excellent and the commentary was good as well. The club has done a good job for the supporters.

Torquay United v Chorley 29/2/20
Good performance but only one telling wing pass when Whitfield crossed for Reid to score these are the positions that wide players must find and we did not get to them enough in the last two games. (Quality crosses not there)The system we are playing restricts us getting there a bit as we are relying on the fullback on one side to get forward and get crosses in but these balls do create chances.

Cundy Back to best
Longridge Improved and wants to play every game.
Cameron Back to his best and it helps that his partner Cundy is as well.
Lewis consistent
Andrews could have been better but he has a certain quality the others have not.

Gulls v Halifax
Thought we were the better side and passed the ball well and were solid at the back for 95 minute and then phew! in the last minute. Cameron and Candy played well and we got a clean sheet. I thought we missed quality width. Whitfield works hard but very few crosses from wide positions Kalala gave the ball away when he came on. Andrews came on and fitted in perfect carrying on where Little played but switched with Evans to the left hand side. I noticed early that Little was walking with a limp and could see the injury coming on him. The keeper did his job today things are looking up.

Next Season.
The side is young and in my experience I would say too many are playing at full stretch all the time causing injuries. Once those players have had the knock back of bad injuries it takes a team a long time to build up what they had. The younger players tend to get silly bookings answering back to the referee when things go wrong, is a good example. If this side is kept together with a few experienced players added there is no reason why we cannot get back up there for the play-offs but they have got to start believing that they can do it.
