You have to look at what the club can afford vs whats available.
Realisticaly with Paul Cox only having been on expenses, your unlikely to get a well respected or proven manager with experiance.
You are however more likely to get someone who will jump at the chance to enter management, and be willing to do so on the cheap as a way in, with a view to proving himself in an attempt to either get the club to offer a decent package once on more stable footing, or to do well enough to put himself in the shop window so to speak.
I would imagine even with the struggles it has now, that the club will get plenty of applications.
What I would seriously urge the club to do, is stop providing "jobs for the boys", and employ people on what they bring to the table, and not who they know throughout the whole club.

Neil Osbourn - Sold to Southamptonforevertufc wrote:when the club has to date produced absolutely nothing from the academy.
Liam Prynn - Almost went to Villa and is now in the first team
Both of these came through the academy not signed at 16 and then just youth team development.

TUFC Development Program
For those of you aged 16-18 and interested in joining our development program time is fast running out as places are getting full.
The program closely follows that of our scholars and has seen lots of players progress into playing in the youth team and is also where Saul Halpin's time at the club began before he broke into the senior team.
Players on the course get free access to all the clubs home league fixtures, coached by the clubs coaching staff which includes Ex Gull Craig Easton, and play in a colleges fixture program as well as regular training games with the clubs youth team.
For more information or if you have any questions please contact me on: [email protected]
or
apply direct by following this link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1_eu-X- ... c/viewform

Hi again everyone, hope you have all had a great xmas with your families and I wish you all the best for the new year.
Just wanted to say that applications for the college course have now started to be processed (it is like a shadow squad to the youth team)
If anyone is interested or would like a visit to their local club to explain the course I'd be happy to help.
Full details on the course are avalible via:

Also if anyone on here has family or friends that are aged will be aged 16-17 at the start of the next school year that could be interested please give them my email for further information.

Many thanks and a happy new year to you all.

TUFC College Development Scheme
Hi everyone,
Hopefully I will be hosting some competitions from time to time on the college development facebook page I linked above, my question to you all is what (realistically) would you like to see as prizes on offer?
Also to be in with a chance of winning you'll need to have liked and shared the page. This in turn will help us reach a larger amount of people, which then helps in our recruitment for next years intake of players.
Last and not least COME ON YOU YELLOWS!!!
