Huth in two minds?
"this simply isn't true."
I was there, I saw KN's reaction.
Watch KN at the end ......................Is that the reaction of a manager who isnt interested? Of course many other factors have to come into play, the next day; but in terms of how Huth played I'm sure Kev was thinking in a positive forward direction at that time. And so were many many others.Power of bloody hind sight ofcs

Huth in two minds?
Best psf ever and deffo best triallist by a long long way ; composed, can tackle, can time interceptions, can pass forwards, sideways and diagonally, maybe quite left sided but thats what we want. By the way KN talked to him immediately at the end of the match his mind was made up too. I just hope it all comes to fruition. Btw my mates who support Stevenage laughed when I told them Williams had signed for us. Took great pleasure is sending them the youtube vid of his goal vs WBA! Oustanding.

Boreham Wood v Torquay
At long last we go into a game with the team showing that it can play with confidence and boss a game 98% of the time without conceding at silly times. I hope though they have worked on corners in training since as the majority were wasted on Saturday ; either over hit or without anyone anticipating the ball going straight through the area. At last we have a CF who can head and score so essential those set plays are not wasted - Blissett isnt perfect but he showed passion and his reaction on scoring said it all - in dire contrast to others who have played up front this season and tbh didn't seem to care what happened. One last word about our supurb support; staggered to see the ratio of away to home supporters - I expected to see their crowd filter in quickly around 2.55 from the club and pubs but all I saw was yellow shirts scarves piling in to the stand out of the rain. Nice to chat to Mr MacDonald too - that's what we Dad's do!

Mr Emms CFGS? always found the Latin I picked up quite useful when presented with a word you don't know but at the time - hmmmmmmm; first room on the right in library corridor - one guy you never messed with!

I for one am pleased Kev has the job! To be honest anyone who wants to take the manager's job at TUFC must really want it bad and the man has qualities which will gel the team and get that defence sorted out. Absolutely sick and tired of the negativity expressed on the forum by a few; so easy isn't it to sit on your lap top and critique, often with hindsight. Those same few seem unable to offer positive advice to get the club moving forward - Steve and his board have moved TUFC forward from oblivion and have made a positive step to try to keep that balance tipped towards still having a football club we can support.
I watched Mansfield last night completely dominate Stevenage over 90 minutes of football. Krystian Pearce enjoying his football and dominant, Matt Green looking a class player and a manager Adam Murray who got his tactics right and put out a team who had confidence with a perfect game plan. Familiar names (didn't know Adam had replaced Cox at Mansfield) - give Kev the chance to do the same.

Have Steve Breed and Deano invested money ?
Last season was very very hard for most of us to take but the new guys have put heart and soul into saving TUFC; I can't see any point in petty questions about who has put what into what; we have a football club; 2 guys at the helm who have really stood up to be counted; a new manager who has and can do the job. Be bloody thankful ........... I am.

A new manager will mean fresh blood in for the squad and I can't now see any of the hangers on from the end of the CH era being a part of next season.
So Lavercombe, Young Richards Briscoe Bowman McDonald + (Prynn Chaney Odofin Yeoman) plus 8? new faces for the new guy to sort. That's a huge ask for any manager but if he's any good a prospect to savour.

A message on Sky Sorts News which suggests the deal will be done by the end of the week..........................
I chatted to the guy who does those banners at the bottom of the screen a few weeks ago. I said there seems to be a huge lack of Conference news from Sky nowadays, which he confirmed. Interestingly the guy who does the overnight ones is a TUFC fan. Lets hope something good flashes up soon.

Assuming Steve and co take over the club, as I think most here want to happen, then they will already have discussed how the club is to be moved forward in terms of management.
I have the distinct feeling that some of the owners to be are not fans of CH and some of the very poor performance against several Conference teams and several very strange team selections will count against CH. However I don't doubt CH's professionalism and commitment and he will now have a list of players he would like; if he can convince the new owners that they are the future of TUFC then I, too, would like him to have another season.

Lets hope they make a better fist of this for next season; makes you wonder what the parameters are when the computer program is written.
