Just watched the interview ……..wow, what a text book review of an overall poor managerial performance by the underperforming employee. Focus on the last 25% of my year’s achievements which were good, make minimal comment about my performance for 75% of the review period, then only to point out “it wasn’t my fault….just look how good I was just before this review “. If you honestly are prepared to give 100% for the next review period, how about showing that commitment by moving to Torquay from Bristol so you can actually be here 100% of the time !!!

Judge him after 10 games into the new season !!!

That will be a total of 56 games - surely enough to see if he is the messiah or just an old pretender.

Hopefully not. I think that his "small" budget this season has highlighted deficiencies in his recruitment process. We are asked to believe (by some posters) that he had a restricted budget but cannot see that he spent whatever he had wisely. He appears to be a manger who can do well but needs money to spend.

What’s happened?

Because our front line -mainly Jarvis - has had woefully poor service most of this season. He is either trying to bring down/knock on balls from outer space or, all too often, when a "winger" gets to a position to put in a usable cross it is poorly executed.

Is it time to go back on the Atkin's diet ??
