Bryn Consortium Take-Over
Hells teeth! Is this as excited as you guys get.,! These gents have saved the club and all you can manage on here is a few begrudged acceptance half remarks. The future will no doubt provide some challenges for owners and fans alike but at least we now have a clear future. Let’s enjoy that before we look around for negatives. THANK YOU to the Bryn Consortium…

I’m on the same track as Brucie here. A new regime will want a key time to maximise its introduction, interviews and exposure etc. Any news will I would have thought would emerge in a mid week for that reason. What I’m not saying is which mid week!

Truro v Torquay to be played at Meadow Park, Gloucester
Incredible that Truro are able to make eight changes for their Sat night game . We haven’t got the playing capacity to make than four. Odds starting to roll in their direction.

Points deduction
Ironic Gateman though that we are being penalised yet again because of the actions of these ‘fly me to moon’ rocket clubs. We get beaten time and again by these type of teams with their swelled budget and now because of their reckless actions lo and behold we find ourselves losing out once again.

Without Plainmoor on a lease we are dead. It maybe restricts white knights to people with less cash than we would like but it does give us a future. There are white knights who like football.

Osborne's Next Move?
Gary Johnson is living off hope and that’s why everything he says doesn’t come to pass. He has a crocked squad and no money going to help him through it - so he has taken to try to find sunshine round the corner. The trouble is nobody is going to help him. The budget is narrowing and there is no help in sight.

We will declare we only have the seven fit men at half past two and give them the points.

Final Nail in the Coffin?
Today could actually be a Godsend. The team aren’t good enough at the moment given injuries which have flung team line ups all over the place. I don’t think further games in this competition would have done us any favours. We need to find some stability from somewhere and for that we need league games only.

Injuries.
It not just the injuries. The balance of the side that is equally important . The current team might try very hard but it has to .be full of similarly aged youngsters who will lack the consistency needed. As we get little injury news we can only assume there is little good news. To achieve a consistency that would see us into the best play off place we need some more experienced players and they can only be delivered if the owners are prepared to fund that. It’s going to be an interesting few weeks.

Injuries.
Interesting thread. At last a series of posts that attempt to look at a topic without being diverted by a ‘hang the guy’ side comment. Clearly injuries are a serious factor with us and the points made are good ones.
I don’t think Johnson helps himself with his instinct to avoid a serious discussion on this topic and any updates about progress or non progress. I realise he doesn’t want to discuss too much in public but our chances to get back up seem to hang on the number and seriousness of injuries and as such he should be giving much more information on the situation.

The subs are made on the basis of who Johnson has to keep happy. Pearce hasn’t really cut it and I,m not sure will be at Plainmoor next week and Hanson will still be with us.At 5-0 there was certainly no tactical thinking involved!
