Hello fellow gulls fans,
September last year, my Dad sadly lost his battle with cancer. He grew up in Paignton and was a lifetime Torquay United fan and brought me up following the gulls as well! He moved to Norwich and that's where he stayed until he passed. We managed to go to a fair few away games each season and made it down to Plainmoor last year for the great escape.
Because of our association with both Torquay and Norwich I wanted to do something to raise money for a local cancer charity here in Norfolk and felt a charity bike ride would work.
So, in just over a week, 5 friends and I will be cycling from Norwich down to Torquay over 5 days. Any donations from the yellow army would be absolutely fantastic. Here is the link to the justgiving page - https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/norwich-torquay
Thanks a lot for reading and again, any donations would be incredible!

Leyton Orient v Torquay United 13/3/18
A very pleasing win! Having gone to Maidstone away the only reason I went to Orient was the fact I had already purchased train tickets.
Thought the way we started was similar to our start at Maidstone, except this time we got the first goal! Fantastic work from Williams and a perfect cross from O'Sullivan. Second half we came out, shut up shop and it worked a treat. It was the perfect away day performance. Everyone played well, but special mentions for;
Dorel (claimed EVERYTHING that he could get his hands on)
O'Sullivan (looked very very tidy when he came on, the cross for the goal being the icing on the cake)
Romain and Williams (work together really well. Romains persistence alongside William's skill is a great balance)
Undecided on Solihull away, as many keep saying, "It's the hope that kills you"

Highest and lowest TUFC away support.
Made it to Braintree away last season in the FA Trophy. Me and a friend stood behind the goal (no cover) and there were only 4 of us! It was unsegregated and raining however, so I'm sure there must've been more fans somewhere.

What exactly should he have said haha? He's hardly going to do an interview and explain how he's an awful manager, mention mistakes he's made in the past and put himself down.
Give the guy a break!

Criticising someone for self promotion? Tad ironicmerse btpir wrote: 25 Aug 2017, 18:37 He's only asked one question and he doesn't answer it ~ "Why do think you are no longer Torquay United manager?"
With his team bottom of the league with just one point, a bunch of sick notes signed and unusable he goes on his journey of self pity and self promotion. The only **** promotion this club was ever likely to see with him around!

Scrap my previous observation, I fancy seeing flipper in the boardroom. #flipper4owner. He 'Will Make Torquay Great Again'. First policy; no good central midfielders allowed.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAH 'going nowhere' hahaha. Flipper for gafferFlipper wrote: 12 Aug 2017, 16:24 Any team that has Luke Young in it is going nowhere but unfortunately KN thinks he's the business. Personally I think he c**p. The other thing I can't understand is that basis to getting results for any team is not to conceded but we can't seem to do that consistently, which amazes me as both the management team were defenders. Very poor and I can't see how they are going to progress. Well I can actually and it begins with dropping Young, the weakest link.

What. An. Idiot!

We were bloody good today. Especially the second half. Fully deserved our goal I thought. Then lathrope going off and gerring coming on messed it all up. Gerring didn't do anything wrong in particular but it ruined our rhythm. Was Lathrope injured??
That will have hurt the players a lot and I can't see us staying up now. They looked so dejected at the end of the game. We win that game and we'd have easily stayed up I think.
Few great performances; Keating, Lathrope and Moore to mention a few.

Reading back in the Herald it says we negotiated a 15% sell on clause. Very handy if it works out!

My local side Norwich City have bid £1.5 mill for Angus MacDonald according to the local paper. Will we get anything out of this deal?
