Technically yes, but tackling and running are key parts of the game so he’s ultimately crap.standupsitdown wrote: ↑01 Apr 2024, 19:51 Mcgavin has the talent to play at a significantly higher level. He can shoot, pick a pass long or short and ease on the ball rare at this level.
But unless he imposes himself on games, runs, tackles and tracks back more he'll never fulfil the talent.
Perhaps he needs a different coach to work on his overall game.

Side note, the drummer needs to simplify those beats if he has trouble playing them, despite his best efforts just keep it simple.

Idiots, had to have a word myself. Seriously what is the point? We’re shite and we know it, but it’s about survival, we have what we have just get behind them because none of them will be here next year.UnitedinDevon wrote: ↑01 Apr 2024, 18:06 pointless post, like most of your recent ones
bit like when the morons in the middle wanted to start a "2-0 up and we fk it up chant" thankfully told to shut up
You think that helps, give your head a wobble

Potential Buyers
knightmaregull wrote: ↑29 Mar 2024, 19:34 I find it staggering that anybody is critical or suspicious of the TUST consortium and proposed dual fan owned approach.
People keep referring to the 'ideal' of a mega rich owner to pump money into the club. My view is that in the modern era that's the last thing a ckub like Torquay need. Even if we assume that such a person would do so for no commercial or ulterior personal gain purpose, at some stage the tap would run dry and we'd be back to square one.
It is essential now to.take the opportunity to completely refresh the ownership of the club, involving as much of the fam base as possible and accepting a few steps back to create a sustainable model for the future. If that means part time football at regional level for a while then so be it.
I disagree that lower attendances would result. The fan base is there as long as the team are doing well. Macclesfield are just one recent example of this (albeit not as a result of fan ownership in their case).
If you are of a negative mindset please try and contain yourself and give those involved affair chance. If you choose to get on board and offer what skills/ funds you can then even better!

I know a few people think McGavin is technically gifted but to me he is everything that’s wrong with this squad. Needs dropping asap

I’d still rather not have COMinneapolisgull wrote: ↑22 Mar 2024, 23:06 For all those a few weeks ago waxing lyrical with happiness that they finally got there club back with CO pulling the plug.
This is that club looks like without CO money! bearly existing heading full steam into oblivion. We still await our Torquay night in shinning Armour with pots of money..... More chance of lord Lucan coming in with a bid.
As we stagger from one disastrous result to another at least we have our club back......

This is the time to blindly rally behind the team, I’m not confident these can stay up but I won’t tell them that.
