The conference is not that strong as it has been in the past..
We started late in recruitment and we have been playing catch up, its September and we have time on our side..
If Kev gets the team organised and the club starts working in the community, to engage the local community, then fans will start coming back..
Bums on seats, means a little extra money to put into the team and also a feelgood factor for the club and the team on the pitch..
We can stay up...

Oh my days...
I wish Kev all the best, but I must say this a massive gamble !!!
I would have chosen Sean Joyce, but I am not the guy who pays the bills

It's Sean Joyce for me, an ex player, highly respected and a quality person.
He lives locally in Torbay, knows the area and the club very well, plus he has done an incredible job at Bideford for 15yrs, with the smallest budget in the league. He has taken them from the bottom of the western league to the southern premier league on the lowest budget, we are only two divisions above Bideford !!
He knows the south west non league circuit better than anyone and sorry guys we are a non league club.
The current key holders of the club are fans, they love the club and should be applauded for all there hard work.
But why do we need to pay a big salary for someone to come in from out side the area, or bring someone in with zero experience, when we have a guy on our own doorstep, who fits the bill perfectly.

I totally agree

1 Local to area
2 Has been a football manager in the South West to a reasonable level
3 Has good people management skills.
4 Confident and Motivated
5 Has been successful relevant to the average playing budget in the league they play in. This is the important one. Someone who has batted above their weight.
6 Will accept a 1 year deal - NOT A ROLLING CONTRACT
