New Stadium-The Willows

I wouldn't trust Torbay Council to give me the right time of day, never mind move the football club into a new stadium. Look what's happened, or rather not happened, with Oldway Mansion where the developer is taking them to court. They can't make a decision on the future of the pavilion. I hope I'm wrong, but If anyone really thinks this is going to be a smooth ride they will be in for a shock.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND JOINT TUFC & TUST STATEMENT

I am partially reassured by the statement from the board. However why no mention of the Roberts allegations that they (the current board) wanted £1m to sell the club to the Roberts group?

Kevin Nicholson has his say..

I agree with Danny reference Dean Edwards. How many clubs at our level have a "Director of Football"? It didn't seem right at the time and it doesn't look good now. I'm not saying it's the only reason for our demise but paying a DOF salary was a stupid mistake. How much is Steve Breed earning I wonder? I would dearly like to know where Mrs Bristows money went, apart from the new stand.

A Word of Sympathy for the Current Board.

I agree with CP Gull. The Chairman and/or CEO need to make a statement pronto. No ifs or buts, tell us the truth!

Colin Lee has his say on TUFC current state

I would love to know where the Bristows' money went (apart from the new stand). Perhaps Thea, who appears to have been very badly advised, will tell us one day?

Nicholson Out

I couldn't get there today and boy am I glad. By all accounts it was dire and we are now at our lowest ebb. It's clear to me that appointing Nicholson was a huge mistake. I've got nothing against him personally (never met him) but we desperately need an experienced manager. I can't see us avoiding relegation with him in charge, and if we do go down I fear for the clubs future.

will there be a next season?

I also don't blame the present board, it's the previous lot who are responsible. Will we ever know just how much money Mrs Bristow put into the club and how it was spent? Obviously there was the new stand, but where did the rest go?

will there be a next season?

If we get relegated (and we probably will) surely the players must go part time. Nicholson playing himself is not a good move. I would love to see a detailed breakdown of where Thea Bristow's money went during the past few seasons.
