Taunton Town v Torquay United Tues 16 April KO 19.45.

For the first time in weeks I've actually had a decent nights sleep! ... Yes, Torquay United, that's what you do to us!

Was fearing the worst last night even when we went two up... you just knew that it wouldn't be plain sailing... and when they scored the usual text from Jnr came through 'here we go again!'.

But, no, the team we've desperately wanted to see all season left it til the penultimate game to show that they actually DO give a sh!t and held on for that vital win.

And, having put a few quid on that we would win 2-1, it'll be all smiles on the way down to the 'Bay on Saturday to actually ENJOY a game of football at Plainmoor and not even give a monkeys about the result.

This season has been a horror show even by our standards so let's hope that staving off relegation gives the preferred bidder (whoever they may be) an insight into what Torquay United is really about... the fans! I believe without that fantastic support last night we may have crumbled and if it all went wrong on Saturday could have seen us without a team to support next season.

COYY!

Agree 100%.

Whoever it is, be it Brewdog, be it The Range, be it Poundland, we're all going to have something to moan about once they are announced...and that is the crux of it... WHEN they are announced. All this speculation and rumours is doing my head in.

Bath City v Torquay United Sat 13th April 3pm

Another day on the road to watch yet another gutless performance by our so-called 'professional' team. What a crock of s**t they are. No passion. No fight. No hope.

I have lost countless hours of sleep this last week with myriad permutations spinning around in my head. I cannot believe how inept the performance was I witnessed today. Lost count of the 'passes' that went astray... we're supposed to be a professional team, that useless bunch that took to the field today (with only a few exceptions) should be investigated by the police for fraud.

Then you hear that our superstar striker Jarvis can't play because he has bruises! wtf! Show some balls man and earn your wages. ALL of you...show some backbone. Some desire. Some passion. This club really doesn't deserve the support it gets.

I've supported this club for longer than I care to remember, and I have never felt so low as I feel this evening. Just want this sh!tshow of a season to be over and done with.

How can a club that you love so much make you feel this bad.

I had to check the date when I read this... nope, it's not Apr 1st.

Jeebus f&*king Ch++_t. How many more times are we going to be kicked in the teeth this season!

The post on the official website doesn't appear to mention the player or the match involved.... whoever it was must've know they shouldn't be f*&king playing!

The silence about the outcome of all of this is deafening.

Just bloody tell us!

Checking back on here and all over the bloody internet every 5 minutes is bloody stressful. It's bad enough being a Torquay fan right now without all this 'who is it?' malarky.

Football is supposed to be enjoyable (for the most part), checking the fixtures, planning away games, looking forward to Saturdays/Tuesdays (or every day of the week if you hail from across the water in Kernow)... but, right now, my blood pressure is through the roof.

Also Havant v Welling tonight. If my maths is right (which is normally isn't!) if Havant lose or draw they will be relegated. Which takes one team out of the equation at least... leaving two spots to fill for the dreaded drop.

Bath City v Torquay United Sat 13th April 3pm

And here we go again...

A visit to Trumpton for what is a MUST WIN game. Surely another 3 points on the road isn't too much to ask... is it?

With the Romans looking to secure a play-off spot (jeebus, what I'd give to be in their position) and us looking to secure our future in the NLS (how far the mighty have fallen thanks to the ineptitude of Messrs Johnson, Osborne, Edwards et al) this is going to be a nerve-wrecking game to say the least.

Both teams with hell of a lot to play for. A decent following from the Yellow Army for our penultimate away game of the season. And, yes, we'll more than likely bottle it and have to rely on results elsewhere.

But, this is Torquay United, when have we ever done anything the easy way!
