Says a lot about this performance when after almost 400 views, no replies.
I'd guesstimate at around 200 away fans (difficult to tell seeing as we were spread all over the place.
As for Man of The Match.... I'll do what some of our payers seem incapable of doing .... i'll pass

Unable to get to the Maidstone game?.....
For those who are travelling....be warned! .... the view at The Gallagher is appalling (unless you're 7ft tall or still have an orange crate left over from the 50s or indeed one of those that have turned up an hour before kick off and lucky enough to be at the front). Also bear in mind that The Gallagher has a limited capacity (c. 2,200 I believe) at the moment due to stand work behind one of the goals.
Also, if you're driving to the game, there is no parking at the Stadium (or very limited at best).... on my previous visits I've parked at Fremlin Walk Car Park (pay on exit) and then followed the canal along to the ground (about 5-10 min walk)

MOTM - Boreham Wood
I promised myself that after Tuesday's woeful performance (sic) at Woking that I would not go to Borehamwood ..... my heart over-ruled my head (and not for the first time where United are concerned).... how there is a 'MoTM' thread is beyond me ...NONE of that 'team' deserve any recognition for playing like they did.... if things don't improve (and soon) then we are in very real danger ....

Courtney Richards - (only joking!)...
Ward played OK.... as did Varma... Moore saved us from total embarrassment..... the jury’s out on the rest.
I'd agree with the 250ish Gulls in attendance..... will the same hardy souls bother to make the trip to North London on Saturday?

Well, that was crap wasn't it! .... no cohesion... couldn't keep the ball the few times we had it.... couldn't hit a cow's ass with a banjo.... I may be wrong, but the only shot 'on target' was our goal... Poke's gloves won't need cleaning this morning. Very disappointing performance all round, and as mentioned above, how the hell is Richards the captain? .... never heard a peep from him all night.... maybe he was hoping his little 'prayer' as he walks on to the pitch was enough.... two highlights.... as mentioned, 'Sparkles' being replaced.... and the toothless wonder who dragged the 'bring out your dead' cart in the second half.... 'Woking's a sh*thole, I wanna go home'..... cue loud voice from said toothless wonder.... 'Well, F**K OFF HOME THEN'... angry man indeed! .... I've done three away trips this season... Macclesfield, Sutton and Woking... yes, I'm NOT going to Boreham Wood!

Jeff... have been to Gander Green Lane before and was one of the lucky ones who managed to squeeze into their small car park. You're right, if you're not there by about 5pm it's a case of find a space in the adjoining streets.

MOTM - Macclesfield
Moore - as said before, no chance with either goal (especially the first one)
Richards (nah, only joking!)
Sparkes - did OK despite the lack of service to him
Blissett at least tried but no support from midfield
....the jury is out on the rest....
Edited to add.... I've just seen that someone has voted for McGinty.... saw nothing from him but hoofball all afternoon.... not impressed (so far)

Macclesfield Town v Torquay United 6th August
Terrible day all round. After setting off from home at 8.30 thought we'd have enough time to stop for a bite to eat, drink etc. M25 - jammed. M40 - jammed. M6 - Jammed. Gorleston - Jammed. Arrived at Moss Rose with 15 minutes to spare. How I wished the M25 had remained jammed - I could've turned around and gone home.
A very lacklustre performance from a team which should have shown more spirit given the feel-good factor off the end of last season. Beaten by the much better team on the day who liked to pass the ball around and use their two wide man to their full potential.
Their opener was a beauty - even my son said he felt like applauding it (he didn't otherwise I'd have slapped him around the head). Trouble is, we could all see it coming apart from our woeful defence. Moore had no chance with it, or the second for that matter.
Richards should really not be captain. Never once during the game did I see him giving any encouragement/instructions. And he should have left the free kick in the first half to Young who we all know can strike a decent ball. Just because Richards scored the one at Bromley he now thinks he's a decent footballer!
Nothing really to be encouraged about from this showing. Let's hope it was just a bad day at the office (yes, another one) and that Nicholson can get them up for the game against Bromley (and, please, ffs, no repeat of last season's debacle).

Might as well be optimistic about the coming season.
Hoping that FGR finish well outside the play-offs as they come to realise that throwing money at promotion does not always bring success. I (like most of us) would love it if Dover were sent back down to ConfSouth (and further!).... ... North Ferriby, well I would have put them bottom, but I'll save that position for my friends along the A26.
And, yep, didn't want to be greedy, so just opted for the final automatic promotion spot.
