Well...... I did regret going! What a waste of an afternoon. Absolutely shocking performance, long ball into the channel for Reid or keating to try and get hold of, even though the 2 big centre halves kept heading it away, however we kept doing it. Asa hall should be a crab, he goes sideways all the time if not, then he tries a Hollywood pass which never paid off. The keeper takes an age to release the ball stopping any chance of a counter attack, Davies does the same turn inside every time he gets the ball. There’s no chance of promotion or playoffs with the manager playing this type of football.
There’s no other team in the world that would keep this clown as manager after the start of the season we’ve had!
As for the morons throwing flares, ban the lot, bloody idiots, and the guy whobthrew the coffee, stupidity, why waste a perfectly good coffee throwing it at a muppet! Stupid thing to do, eapecially when there was children all around. Hope they all get banned.

A very nice, genuine football man! The cretins on here will abuse anyone given the chance!Southampton Gull wrote: ↑26 Aug 2018, 23:45 Honest, honourable, approachable and sincere. Has given so much of his own time for the Club probably since before this clown was born. The one shining light over the last few miserable years and definitely not a puppet of Dean Edwards.
I’d suggest take some of the Negative feelings to Andy and use them against owers or the crock of sh*t players on the pitch, not an ounce of professionalism or passion between them!
I told owers to resign as I left early on Saturday, didn’t even have the balls to face me and confront me, the blokes useless

Did we have any centre midfielders yesterday? If they were there I’d like to know there stats because I don’t think either completed a pass, made a tackle or even broke into a sprint! Waste of space and I expect hall is on a decent wage!

Looking forward to the game today, my first chance to see the new team, having been out the country for a few months, hopefully sneak a win but from I’ve heard and read over the last few weeks we’re still struggling to create and score chances!

I want Gowling to stay....
He’s done the same to me too why open yourself up to debate if you can’t Handle people having differing opinions, too precious, not mentally capable of playing in this league, was crap last season when he could be bothered to play, what sort of footballer can’t okay in 4g??? Considering the team train occasionally at TABurnhamgull wrote: ↑22 Jun 2018, 20:08 It seems Gowling is precious as well as attention seeking. He's blocked me on Twitter for suggesting that he shouldn't bring his dispute with the employer onto social media but, instead, deal with it direct with them.
Now he's removed the tweet apparently.
What a complete prick.![]()

Gulliball wrote: ↑28 Apr 2018, 18:48 The strange thing about this list though, is that the one person under contract + 6 out of contract players that he wants to keep were all originally signed by predecessors. If all do re-sign then we'd go into next season with the majority of the first team signed by someone else, despite that being so often cited as why Owers has been hampered so far this season.
What Owers is looking to do now is, in effect, keep the core of the squad and add to it, which is exactly what he had to do when he arrived in September. I would say this list (not one Owers signing offered a new deal for next year) is a reflection that he didn't do this at the first time of asking. Let's hope he does better second time around.
ps, Owers also has a 'maybe' list (Jakub Sokolik and Neal Osborn).

Who will be here next season in the NLS?
Remember we were told the players are fitter now,(12 points dropped on last 5mins of games since he arrived) formations and tactics are now more suited to this level of football, remember we were told of this great tactical manager coming in, an old school coach who won’t take any crap.Arrywithnobrain wrote: ↑17 Apr 2018, 23:55 Remember how Owers said Torquay weren't rubbish any more? Remember how long ago he said it? Remember how much better he has made the team? Remember that he will be in charge of the team next season? More memories to stack alongside Hargreaves and Nicholson in case you have some kind of dementia that forgets the last six months.
Yep, got all that wrong in the last 6 months too!!

Minneapolisgull wrote: ↑15 Apr 2018, 03:03 Does it matter that Halifax have played however many games in a week. I really do not care! We won 1-0 that is all that matters.
I am sure if one day in the future Torquay managed to beat Barcelona in the champions league we were spend the thread discussing that they are not as good as the team from the 70's. And why wasn't Clarke Osbourne there!!!
It has been a shocking season but we are still in with a chance of staying up.. Let at least have some hope for a few days.
If we can beat Hartlepool and Guisley do us a favour. We might be able to stay up.... Who would have thought we would still have a chance..

Owers is going no where fast unfortunately, and to think, some old, expert s in there own front rooms have been hailing him as a mesiar for the majority of the season, commending him on his footballing knowledge and how tactically aware he is, and how much fitter the players are under him, yet we concede In the last 10 minutes more goals than any other team in the country, and 70% of the goals conceded are from set plays!
Genius!!
