Retain List

I can see no reason why the season ticket prices can't be announced it's not as if Osborne has to wait until the Board meets to agree such decisions, given that we still don't have one.

Clarke Osborne says 'I'm not Genghis Khan'

Couldn't present themselves properly from day-one? Difficult when you've got the track record GI have regarding Stadium development/non-development.Osborne never addresses his past record of not delivering and the damage they've caused to a number of other sports clubs ,which is the underlining reason for such mistrust as far as his ownership of TUFC is concerned.

Would have gone but for a work commitment.Instead will listen to radio and avoid going into town as 5,000 Young Farmers invade the Bay for their Annual Convention/Piss-up.

Anyone fancy standing for our MP as a 'Save TUFC from GI' candidate?

To be pedantic its not even the freehold that's being discussed in July but the leasehold.

Better to persuade all the Parliamentary candidates to make the future of Torquay United a local issue and get them to publicly support Council retention of the lease and the need for GI to invest in the club, engage properly with supporters/the community,be more transparent, etc, etc.
Kevin Foster is supportive but Adrian Sanders isn't standing though will be heavily involved in the Lib Dem campaign,so will no doubt fully brief their candidate on the issues. Maybe Julien Parrott will be standing for UKIP too? Members of the Labour campaign team such as Darren Cowell, know the issues and will be supportive,I'm sure the Greens will too.Ignore any racist candidates from the BNP or the like if they stand, but lets try and get it in the local manifestos of all the other main parties.

Guardian Article On Torquay

Southampton Gull wrote: 18 Apr 2017, 08:04 The Herald are definitely complicit in the deal for Plainmoor. Unfortunately my information is GI already have the deal done.
How can a deal be done if it's subject to the democratic process? That would infer that the Mayor is going to take the decision alone and not refer to full council;highly unlikely in my opinion. There will de a decision in July but at the moment my bet would be on the Council retaining the freehold, with GI told to come back when they've got some proper proposals for a new ground,or with plans to develop Plainmoor and it's facilities whilst remaining as leaseholders.
