Disgrace for a footballer. Get the twunt gone. I've no doubt he did that on purpose. Should be stacking shelves in Tescos. Can we fire him for gross misconduct? At least fine him the rest of his contract and tell him to feckoff.

Full time V Part Time
Part time football will be the end of Torquay United. Only an accountant would think this is a good idea. And it's accontants that have put us in this position. Years of neglecting the product and customers have jed to this, driven by myopic bean counters.

Let's nip the GJ out lynch mob in the bud. It's not going to happen. GJ is the most important piece of the puzzle, so to any naysayers and loons STFU! Even the best, well funded managers have bad spells. GJ isn't well funded, otherwise we would have had a Bodenesque experienced front man in by now along with a Branston monster at the back. Whoever it is responsibility to man manage the manager, it's time to do your job. Get GJ back smiling again and we will benefit from his bounce. The players need to rally around and fight their way out of this together, show what they're made of if they are to have a career in Pro football. Either that or feck off back to shelf stacking or whatever they might be qualified for.
It's time for the fans, club and players to get behind GJ once again.

The question is Why stop accepting cash? If you want to buy your ticket online, that's absolutely fine, no problem. Why exclude cash? It was never a problem before, so why is it a problem now? The Premiershite is vastly skewed towards Season Tickets, so not relevant. Torquay, in particular, as a holiday town, has a lot of visitors who might wish to attend, but can't. If I was in the UK, I would be working on a Saturday and wouldn't know until around midday if I was going to be free to go. The whole decision smacks of creating a problem where there wasn't one.
Marketing and Sales rule number 1: make it easy, enjoyable and affordable for customers to consume, visit, enjoy your product. Some moronic bean counter has come up with this and needs to be told. Can Torquay United afford to miss out on revenue for any reason? You only have to look at the farce that is Bristows Bench to see nobody thought it through. BB can never, ever, be full capacity because they have to block swathes of seats to separate fans. Design fault, or the result of someone not understanding the function?

Let's hope that stayaway fans make the last minute choice to go to Plainmoor, should be a cracking game. Oh, that's right, they can't because some feckwit at the club won't allow pay at the gate. Dumbest, most stupid decision the club have made.

FFS! Gary Johnson has more nouse in his little finger nail than all the limp wristed speculators here. Let the man do his job. A Brilliant manager, with a track record that is 2nd only to our other hero, Warnock. So STFU! Grow some balls and let him do his thing, he's NEVER let us down.

I must admit, I was disappointed that he didn't finish the piece with "I'm the only gay in the Popside". Actually, he might not be, but I'm not sure if my mate still goes or where he stands/sits.
It is a bandwagon, the latest cause de jour. In 20 years time, or less, society will look back on this with complete bafflement. 95% of people, including me, couldn't care less what lifestyle you choose. So what! As long as you're not interfering with my lifestyle, no problem. A TUFC player did come out as Gay, Justin Fashunu, and we loved him for his football. Especially his goal v West Brom after he took dogs abuse from their fans. When he scored, he dove into the Popside and was swamped with adoration.
Of course, there are a small minority of prats, just as there are a small minority of LBGTQ. The majority of us would rather you got on with your lives and left us out of it, none of our business who you care to love. As a TUFC fan, of whatever persuasion, you get enough pain and we all suffer together regardless.

This is all getting rather tiresome. More virtue signalling and attention seeking. I've often wondered if the B group in the LBGTQ bandwagon didn't get the memo on how many genders there are supposed to be these days.Mr Burnz wrote: 09 Jun 2022, 10:06 TT BLOG: Thomas Kelly discusses breaking the stigma around LGBT in football.

Unless the club appoints a scout with an in-depth knowledge of non-league and League 1 and 2 Torquay will end up with useless articles such as Halstead and Holman.
Invest in a knowledgeable scout and Torquay, with Johnson's managerial ability, might just be in with a chance of promotion.
Retain the present incumbent and Torquay have about as much chance of promotion as Iran's president has of being invited to a Bar Mitzvah!!!

Would you like a little hurty place for you to blub in snowflake? There are NO racist comments or any support for racism in any of the above comments. Just the opposite. Which just goes to prove how ridiculous taking the knee is when it provokes perverse reactions like this.Eastmid gull wrote: 23 Mar 2022, 10:23 This post has honestly made me feel sick I genuinely can’t believe people can complain about people taking a knee in a sign of of respect and solidarity you need to have a serious look at yourselves it’s honestly disgusting

I'm not going to take lectures on racism from virtue signallers. I was born in Nigeria, my Mother was Muslim, I'm married with an Asian family. I live, work and socialise within a predominantly Muslim community in SE Asia. My neighbours, co-workers and friends don't know I'm a racist so can you keep it quiet in case they find out.
Taking the knee is a Political gesture promoted by Marxist Black Lives Matter activists. It has NO place in Football. Stand Up Against Racism!

Did our players kneel last night? If so, that is the last game I will follow the Gulls. There's no place for BLM Marxist appeasement and political posturing. We stand up to Racism, we kneel to nobody.

Can We Make the Play Offs?
Looks like the top 9 have broken away now. So anything 10th and above will be a good season while GJ rebuilds for the next one. However, 10th or 11th seems to be our level.
