Potential Buyers
Why is it the people who have done the sum of **** all sit on their arses and criticise people who are trying their hardest to keep the club alive?

Sick of people moaning and looking for flaws in a group of people trying their damn hardest to keep this club alive. What exactly do you want? No one is riding over the hill with billions to chuck into a bottomless pit.

Torquay United v Bath City, Sat 4th Nov. 3pm
We did OK yesterday! Thought we started really well, but the half slowed down especially when Laps took a knock. Bath are alright for this level and had a bit of the ball. But we defended pretty confidently bar the last 10 minutes where we seemed a bit jittery. Most importantly we held out.
Dolan is definitely decent, can actually play on the half turn and has a bit about him. Theo Williams looked a handful as well.
My main criticism is we were very wasteful in the final third - the slide ball through was on time and time again but we wasted it.
On the whole, a good 3 points with a test to come on Tuesday.

He’s not a moron. He’d spent over a 100 quid on a day that saw us get rolled over by Hampton and Richmond!greb46 wrote: 29 Oct 2023, 06:16 Yes doesn't help some moron swearing away but you can tell from his replies or lack of them that there is no interest in the club as a football team and as was known all along it's all about finance for housing as far as I can see which has backfired currently without the freehold and they're considering their next move which appears to be to finish the club off with the hope they can get their grubby mits in the ground for property.
We are 10th in Step 2. If this was a different club I could see it getting ugly - Edwards got off very lightly.
Also - a lot of the conversation wasn’t on camera.

There’s a video on Twitter with some of the conversation.
I was witness to it. So a top line summary:
There was no question of the squad in August. Mel Hayman then said that Osborne has invested millions - I think she thinks we should shut up and be grateful.
Struggling to get loans of required calibre - ‘no one wants to come down to us’
Engaging with TUST is not going to happen - Hayman senior just laughed and said it was not what ‘he’ wants - that will be Clarke.
Lots of non-answers and smoke and mirrors. I can’t believe these are the people running the club.

You are aware Fleetwood currently play in League One - that’s three divisions above us! He might be good for us in the… NLS.JimNichol'sdog wrote: 27 Oct 2023, 15:43 Judging on this individual's previous I predict a sending off and/or an appearance before the magistrates for drink driving.
No disrespect to the club, but if he isn't good enough for Fleetwood he hardly appears to be a stellar signing. As Lee Johnson has loaned him to Dad, it beggars the question, yet again, of what the f**** Peter Johnson does each week. It's a rhetorical question to which, I imagine, most fans know the answer.

I think Ollie is best CB we have, but he struggled last night against Reid.torq2u wrote: 25 Oct 2023, 15:44 Must put in a shout for Tomlinson who stands out for me, amid all the dross, and is learning from others' mistakes. He kept a big, experienced striker quiet last night for most of the game and made some timely interceptions. No, he's not the finished article, but probably the best we've got at CB.
Be interesting to see Omar Ali back on loan with all his European experience!!

There’s no lack of effort really. And we have some decent players. The problem is the rest are simply nowhere near good enough.
This squad is all on the Johnson brothers. I understand we might not have the biggest budget in the league. But to be outclassed by Weston Super Mare….! Depressing times.
