Can We Make the Play Offs?
I forget things very quickly nowadays. With reference to culmstockgull's comment, could someone please tell me the last time we received a transfer fee for a player, and how much was it?

Just watched 1st half, commentator got it right. "Not missed the action replay machine"
No goals, but plenty of possession.

Ex-Gull watch
An innocent looking ball into the penalty area, Covolan jumps up, catches the ball easily, and for some unknown reason, thrusts his right leg into the chest of an attacking player. IMO, definite red card.

Eastleigh v Torquay United Tuesday 28 Dec KO 3pm
Please remember what league we play in. We will not get perfect players at our level of football. None of them are infallible. If an outfield player makes a mistake, it will probably not always result in a scoring opportunity. If a goalkeeper makes a mistake, it is probably going to give the opposition a real goal scoring chance. In my opinion, McDonald is a competent goalkeeper for this level of football.UnitedinDevon wrote: ↑28 Dec 2021, 17:17 yeah 1 mistake,... i mean basically gifted a Yeovil player a 1v1 on Boxing Day and that was 48hours ago
The bloke makes numerous mistakes, i didn't think he was good enough last season and its not changed

Did we send the wrong goalkeeper to Gloucester? After his performance today, I hope I don't see another. My 1st chance to see us since Sutton (a), before lockdown. How good to be able to pay cash, not be forced to wear a mask, and not have any rigmarole about testing.

Considering that when we visited Maidstone, the local police advice was for segregation, this seems a strange decision, but not unwelcome.fred wrote: ↑01 Dec 2021, 17:11 I sent an E mail to Tonbridge asking if segregation was planned before getting my tickets. Very polite e mail back stating they are a friendly and welcoming club and they only segregate fans on police advice. Our game will have no segregation but the Maidstone one a week or so later will!!

Just the flags, not enough for the poles as well!Plainmoor78 wrote: ↑21 Nov 2021, 11:08 That is an interesting theory and in the light of Notts County trying and succeeding to break the National League attendance record by offering tickets for a fiver the other week sounds very plausible indeed.
