Josh McQuoid
Brother n law is a Cov City fan and has watched Mcquoid half a dozen times a few seasons back, reckons he is a great signing for conference level. (which is good because 90% of ex Cov players are crap when he's usually asked). He reckons he's 100% a striker not a winger.

Highest and lowest TUFC away support.
I don't have the stats in front of me, but I remember going to the Birmingham fa cup replay a number of years ago at the hole St Andrews. I had the full intention of sitting in the away end, but it was sold out and looked like a couple of thousand away fans. Had to sit with the blue noses

Wonder if this drawn out news will be followed by the fact his war chest will be less than what my 8 year old has in her piggy bank.

Unsure why so many feel a man who was sacked with Newport 11 points adrift at the bottom of league 2 recently is a good fit, and just what Tufc need. Sure all managers get the sack, but compared to Ronny Moore I know who i would say is a safer bet. Hoping this is nothing to do with Westley becoming involved/investing in the club's finances.

Robbie Herrera or Des Bulpin? The quality of the prospective gaffer is going down hill so quick, Chris Todd getting the job will seem like signing Mourinho.

Welcome to the site, introduce yourself topic...
Hi all,
Left the Bay as a kid to move up to the Midlands and now In my 40s and really a Villa supporter, but have always and will always follow the Gulls. I have managed 2 or 3 away games a seson until 4 or 5 years ago when kids and a season ticket in the Holte made it tricky.
How things have changed since I was a whipper snapper in the cow shed end! Solid pro's such as Phil Lloyd, Paul Holmes, Jim Mchnicol and talent such as Loram and Paul Smith would all stroll into this team.
Best TUFC memory was our side in my final season in the bay. The Tommy Tynan Wes Saunders side which beat Burnley at Wembley to go up. (Minus Tynan in the final because of the alleged kettle incident)
Anyway hello all

Don't worry be happy!
Very sad indeed, I used to live in the bay as a kid around the time the likes of Loram Holmes Lloyd Mchnicol etc. The club struggled but was always a stable and steady ship for the most part. The guy took dogs abuse on occasion but how an owner like Mike Bateson would be welcomed with open arms now.

DEADLINE DAY MADNESS - 3 SIGNINGS!
Hi everyone please don't rip my head off, first post
Surely 3 signings (so far) is a positive sign re the owners? Whatever is going on behind the scenes and the reason for the delay, (which is more than likely beyond their control), surely getting the right man over the line to save Tufc longterm, is the only thing that matters?
