Re: Salisbury v Torquay - PSF thread
Do not normally post but do,liking reading all the posts. thought I would just like to say, I know the one of the groundsman at Salisbury and he said to me that half the team they put on Saturday were trialists ( tully was one of them, have to speak objectively , looked tidy in the fullback position). On the first half performance Salisbury looked the better team and not a bunch of trailist. Maybe there are some gems in on league looking for a chance. Cooper may not be tall but can play football, I was impressed with what I saw so why could he not have a place in the squad, not all our league play hoofball. As I said before Rendell was poor and I was expecting a bit more from him. Just my opinion and Alan Knill I will have to trust.

Re: Salisbury v Torquay - PSF thread
Went to the game today, Salisbury played the better football in the first half and had more off the chance. Rendall is defo not match fit and went off injured. Must say that Tonge and Harding looked neat and tidy and Downsey was solid. The Kept the ball ok but did nothing with it, too many square and pass backwards for my liking-only my opinion
Second half was much better, bit more forward running and better use of the ball. penalty was abut harsh but Billy put away comfortably.
All in all a win is a win, did hear that Rendall has already fallen out with Alan Knill

Downes agrees 2-year deal
Happy with this, one of our, if not the best player last season. Be happier when signed on the dotted line

Re: Things you remember about the ground and past
For me one of my best memories is standing in the "mini stand" behind the goal when the Dude scored against Spurs in the league cup. Also remember watching the team and Bruce Rioch train on the all weather pitch at Audley Park as it was then. Anyone confirm what it's called now, certainly looks a bit different
