According to Football Web Pages, our average attendance so far this season is 3775 which includes 2 games in the FA Trophy. If my calculations are correct, by ignoring the Trophy games, our average attendance for league games only is approaching 3840. If a list of the top 20 attendances for a single game in NLS was compiled, apart from Maidstone's home game against us 3028, we may well occupy the other 19 positions.

I listed the fixtures of the top 8 teams for the rest of the season. 5 of the 8 have to play 3 games each against the other contenders, Boreham Wood and Maidstone 2 games each and us 1 against Truro. It all depends on how well we do of course but the other 7 will at least be nicking points from each other.

According to the Enfield FC Twitter/X, from next season they will be playing their home games at Hertford Town FC.

Some teams have been at or near the bottom of the league all season, others have gradually drifted towards the bottom whereas we, from a position of relative safety have been unceremoniously dumped into a relegation battle by someone who the players don't know and possibly may never even have met. Their mindset wasn't focussed on relegation and that could be the problem. 2 games to go and all we can do is get behind the team and hope.

With 8 of the bottom 10 teams playing against teams also in the bottom 10, the league could look somewhat different after today.

If these teams with their enormous resources are struggling, then we are not alone.
