Hi guys
What are your feelings regarding Harry Redknapp on being Torquay's new "potential" owner
He has stated that he wants to buy a club once this lock down is over
This is his ambition a club at a lower level even at the National league standard
A club with some potential
Torquay has got such great potential don't you think so!
What's our chances of trying to sell TUFC to him via social media
Would you want him as the new owner?
All being remotely hypothetical
but hey you never know
He's appearing at the Princess Theatre Torquay on 15th October get your banners ready

Torquay Utd players retained list shortly to be released
What are your thought guys??
Torquay United are going to be releasing their players retained list by this Sat May 2nd
1)Which Torquay Utd players would you like to keep?
2}Who would you be prepared to release & let go?
3)In the present climate which of our players can we now not afford to renew their contract with hence will most likely "fly" the nest(gulls)?
4)I'm sure that they will be many decent new players that are a bargain in the market place that we could/should buy
Any ideas?
5)Which players would you love to see playing for Torquay that we could afford?

The Clubs Future
Hi i've just had a surreal kind of thought idea
in maybe helping the fortunes of the club in the short term
What if it was at all possible that we could make an arrangement with TUFC whereby we could still buy online tickets
for the upcoming matches even though they have been cancelled! (indefinitely)
The next match vs Bromley Sat. 4th April whereby, say if we paid say a % towards the match ticket
then received whatever % deduction against that fixture once the season finally goes ahead
(Like a coded text verification)
Any thought or ideas waiting in eager anticipation

They loved "The Avenging Angels" Ska Mod Soul Music entertainment Act
They set off at 4am Sat morning took them @6 hours in the pouring rain etc
Hardcore football supporters that still follow their team even when they are rock bottom of the league

Torquay United v Ebbsfleet United 25/1/20
I would actually go as far as saying that this spectacle was
Quite probably the worst game of football that i have ever seen in my life
(for as long as i can remember)
Towards the end
i started to physically count their away supporters @60
or were they nearer 55 or maybe 58 or 53
that's how bad this game was
Neither team could string more than a few passes together
The touch and control from both teams was dreadful
Why oh why does Johnson continue to play with the one striker up front STILL??
What do the Torquay management team do tactically all week long
Umm i know lets hump cloud high balls aimlessly up to Reid
against their 6ft 2in centre backs
This against a very poor team that normally let in goals for fun
Have Torquay improved NO
Also the lack of Seagulls became rather worrying

MOTM - Ebbsfleet
Absolutely dreadful game!!!
with very little football being played by either team
If Torquay struggle to score against a team that are 10 points from safety
that also let goals in for fun
Gawd HELP us!!!!!!

Re: Torquay United v Stockport 30/11/19
In a CRAB Shell
Name change from The Gulls to the Crabs
Stockport were so fast & dynamic on the break away
Only taking 2 or 3 passes to reach Torquay's penalty box
Whereas WE took 20 to 23(it seemed)
Slowly playing the ball sideways "Crab like"
& as the match went on even worse backwards
Far to slow & ponderous in our approach play
Unlike Stockport who were quickly using their players advantage

Re: MOTM - Stockport
MOTM
Whitfield
He always gives 100% with plenty of dynamism & control
MacDonald
He helped keep the Stockport score down to single figures
Kalala
He was skipping past their defenders as though they weren't there
McNulty
Lovely quick feet enjoys taking players on
Lewington
Holds the ball up well Almost scored with his first header

Re: Torquay VS Eastleigh 7:45 24.9
How did we manage to lose that home game tonight??
In front twice yet still failed to win!
against a side who were hovering around the bottom four that did seem to be struggling
Tbh overall
Eastleigh played the ball around quicker with far better ball/player movement
and used the full width of the pitch more successfully
Torquay did have lots of good early chances but didn't capitalize on them
our midfield at times was non existent AWOL
Eastleigh were repeatedly waltzing through us at will unchallenged
I won't dare mention how awful the central defenders were
I've no idea on the unusual substitutions later on
Taking off Torquay's most influential player off Ben Whitfield
Torquay do seem to lack a few quality players
PS Sign up Sam Smart Eastleigh's speedy number 11
i lost count of the numerous quality crosses that he put in
(Even tho he looks about 16)
He was destroying our defenders
Come on uuuu YELLOWS!!!!!

Hi all slightly off topic
A big Hello to fellow TUFC supporters
""Please may we have the DRUMMER back!!""
As he really adds to the atmosphere & brings lots more vibrancy around the stadium
I'm a relatively newbie from Middlesbrough & must have attended @18+ matches by now
