Everything can be judged by the actions that are or are not taken.
This club has been spiraling downwards for all to see, you can feel it because you have been there before.
Should the board (corporation) not put something very substantial into this club then the obvious is so obvious you cannot deny it.

Avoiding the question with something that has nothing to do with the question is called gaslighting.Southampton Gull wrote: 28 Oct 2023, 15:49 As opposed to Aaron Downes or Joey Barton you mean??
Perhaps Wayne Rooney will be free soon....

The TUFC commentary wouldn't hint at Lovett being the backup to the striking force would they?
Hah, they just did. Oh the media!
To be able to say such a thing proves the lack of depth in this squad produced by the management.

The former Bristol City player has endured a miserable 12 months in charge of the Gulls, as he led them to relegation from the National League last season, and now find themselves in mid-table in the National League South, 10 points off leaders Woking already.”
We are now at the same point, as today’s scores are going, 10 points behind Yeovil, been relegated from NL and have endured a miserable 29 (Owers got 12) month period. PLUS Owers left behind a decent team, this team of no hopers are no way comparable to Ower’s team. It’s not only gone full circle but we are in a far worse state on the pitch stuck in NLS.

A plethora of midfielders and hardly any strikers and GJ is playing a 4-3-3 formation! Unbelievable.

Devoid of any backup in attack which with all of those that have been voicing the glaringly obvious, is pretty par for the course.

desperado wrote: 17 Oct 2023, 11:52 What gets me is the watering of the pitch before the game. I get why they do it but it suits
the opposition more than us ! They are the ones who play the slick quick passing on the ground.
We play a mix of ground passing and long ball, the ground passing often resulting in the ball going backwards and ending up with a long ball anyway. Other teams seem to know exactly what they are doing whereas in our passing build up play, there is often that slight hesitation of 'who's in a good position to pass it to. We are ponderous and there doesn't seem to be that understanding that other teams have.

That's a very good point, because I bet they don't water the training pitch before a training session.
