Truro Away - Now at Taunton - ? Date

Exactly. They've had issues playing only 15 games in 6 months on that pitch. How they expect 20 games in 10 weeks to go off without a hitch is beyond me.

Truro Away - Now at Taunton - ? Date

portugull wrote: 08 Feb 2024, 16:00 We do of course have a precedent for the Truro v TUFC Match being played at Plainmoor.

It really does make a lot of sense for all parties.
Especially as means you can keep to the original date. With 20 games still to fit into 10 weeks there really isn't a lot of leeway to fit it all in, unless you start playing Saturday and Sundays or two days in a row midweek on the same pitch. Seems mad not stick to the original 27th date to avoid adding this game to the inevitable backlog that seems certain to build up.

The sensible thing would be to swap your away game against Truro to Plainmoor. Means less travel for all fans, better crowd, and avoids the fixture pile up that could ensue later

Dartford v Torquay United, 25th Nov 2023, 3pm

Southampton Gull wrote: 25 Nov 2023, 18:16 6 points behind second place with 2 games in hand you mean? Agreed, nothing needs saying.......
Being a bit selective there. 6 points behind third with only one game in hand. 5 points behind 4th and 5th with only 1 game in hand. And worse GD than all of them.

Interesting day to see both pre-season favourites humped by 3 goals.

TUFC V Yeovil (FA Trophy) - 18th Nov 3pm

Admiral wrote: 18 Nov 2023, 20:34 We beat the side bottom of the sixth tier and a weakened Yeovil at home in the Trophy, it’s a good result and we’re all happy but I wouldn’t get carried away!
7 changes from our last game, virtual whole defence changed. I’m delighted to see you picking up a bit, and hopefully you’ll have a lovely long run in the Trophy, and a decent fixture pile up 😀 .
Seriously we both should not be in this hell hole and look forward to playing you in the National next season.
