Lots of street parking approx half a mile from ground, if you get there in good time, do a small reccy of the area, you'll find plenty.

Torbay Council
This may not be a popular post, but I want to stick up for the council, even going back to Dave Webb, Chris Roberts, Osborne have all wanted the freehold on the land, and thankfully the council have said no, I just hope there's a Mike Bateson figure who's local, he wasn't everyones cup of tea, but I always thought he was a decent bloke who had the clubs best interests at heart, and he kept us solvent and debt free.

Osborne gone!
TorquayUnited wrote: ↑22 Feb 2024, 22:46 The administrators have the club. There is no club while they are in charge. The slow close down begins until May then it will be gone.
You do realise this?? The club is effectively dead and when the administrator sells off the assets it's bye bye for good.
Blimey we have our club back surely you are not this stupid to think there is a club anymore.
Good grief.
Absolute madness of all time statement.
Listen up,
I happy to see the back of Osborne, any right minded fan would be, I'm not some deluded idiot, I do know how the world works, yes he's gone, it looks bleak, but we do have our club back from the hands of a vulture, and we will survive, get through this and come out the other side of it, BELIEVE!!

Osborne gone!
Glad Osborne, Edwards,GI,Peter Johnson, Gary Johnson and any other hanger on has now gone, esp the fraud that is Clarke Osborne, he's got more front than Southend pier, dodgy, shady, and as soon as I saw him I got Chris Roberts "vibes" immediately, we've finally got OUR club BACK!.

Yes, and he also stated that Gulls will probably make the playoffs and win the playoffs!!, strange comment because surely he's trying to get Farnborough in the playoffs himself? (I know that's a longshot but if it's possible you surely have to go for it), weird message to send out to his own players, is he forgetting the fact we've already lost 15 league games?..

For me, since the Hartlepool game it's pretty much been downhill ever since, that season we should of gone up automatically, we had a really good commanding lead in the league, but we ended up in the playoffs and the rest is history as they say.. We've also suffered massively with the break-up of the squad that so nearly got us promoted, the replacements have been hugely inferior, and without sounding harsh, NLS or lower is their level, they aren't bad players at all, we need to be up their getting promoted with a view to being in the EFL, I don't think these players are the answer, it boils down to recruitment and also being over loyal to players who GJ should of moved on..The writing has been on the wall here for ages, post Hartlepool it's been bad, last season after the hype was awful, and this season we've never convinced, the last month has been a real low point.

I get zero pleasure from watching GJ struggle post match, he obviously badly wants to correct things in the hope we'll make the playoffs and go up, it's a pride thing, and I get that, it can't be easy for him, no matter what line of work we're in, personal pride is important and integrity, once upon a time he was good for us, but those days have gone now, I even think for his well being and mental health he should walk away, why he needs all this aggro at this stage of his life God only knows.

I'm not trying to be clever, but the majority of fans predicted a loss, we then go and lose, and everyone is up in arms about it, I'm not excusing it at all, but we've met st Albans,Slough, and Braintree probably at the wrong time (form wise) we aren't going up this season, let alone making the playoffs, like someone else has alluded to, we need a fresh start or clean slate, sounds harsh but who would fans keep??, I'd like to know, it could be a catch 22 scenario, and season 24/25 could involve a brand new squad and that takes times to bed-in,so I wouldn't put my mortgage on promotion next season either..

I just don't think it really ever worked out for Ryan Hanson, good luck to him with his new club, from time to time you could see he was half decent, but he suffered with form and being a utility player doesn't help, esp in a losing team/relegation....as for today, I'd be surprised if Jarvis starts, I doubt hes match fit and up to speed with things..
