Transfer discussion 25/26

Heard the same. I'd hope we can get Harvey but there will be plenty of players out there.

Hope we can get Jenkins Davies signed, plenty of potential and could really crack on with a run of games, although would like to see him arriving late in the box ala Platt or Lampard. Maybe he can play off the left as an inside forward.

Transfer discussion 25/26

Difficult to call until retained list comes out.

Harry Kite would be an excellent signing. We may have a fight with yeovil to get him signed on.

I think we are gonna need..

A right back, 3 centre midfielders(1 cdm included), a winger and a versatile forward.

WJD hasn't done enough for me to be a starter, however is still young and could be a useful player and potential for sell on in future if he can get in the side and perform.

Paul Wotton - like, not keen or indifferent?

Paul has done a brilliant job. Also is a good guy polite and respectful to fans. Something Gary Johnson lacked.

Torquay United v Slough

Whilst many were moaning at the lack of tempo/ drive to get more goals yesterday, I think with a huge game on Friday we had to preserve condition. None of the lads would have wanted injuries and the game was won. So as a spectacle it limped over the line, but the bigger picture was to be fit for Friday,

truro are a physically challenging test they put endless crosses and long throws on the backline. It will be a hard game and will take a resolute energetic performance to win

The Drama of the next 49 Days in the NLS

Seems truro were extremely lucky at worthing. Some horrific decisions by the ref(sigh). Lavercombe should of been sent off and worthing missed alot of chances, but that's football.

The Drama of the next 49 Days in the NLS

standupsitdown wrote: 07 Apr 2025, 17:30 That's an interesting summary.
Agrees with my analysis that if we win all four games we still have a chance of winning the league but that it's out of our hands.
Would be a massive effort to do that, but we could.
As we seen pretty much anyone can beat anyone.
But it's football and that's why it's so fascinating.

I don't think Slough is an easy game, let alone truro. Slough have beaten Worthing 4-0, but also lost 4-0 to Weymouth.

TerryTorq thats why I started this post 10 days ago which has already clocked up 42,000 viewings because I was amazed how many times the top Clubs play one another in the last 7 weeks.

It is a big factor and it will go to the wire which should be great for the clubs involved at the gate. Some crowds at Plainmoor over 5,000? I think so.COYY.
Over 5k for sure possibly chesham and weymouth games. And sold out IF we have home playoff games. How many will bath bring Saturday? I'm sure they were in away terrace last season
