2-0 Gulls and a wave goodbye to Edwards and everybody else that has played their part in this truly woeful season to forget.
Hope AJB gets the player of the season as he has shown more guts and fight than all the rest. Oh and he has managed to stay injury free !

Totally agree Marshall is a total waste of space and we are well rid of him. Cost us last season for his ill discipline and dodgy eyesite.simjones1980 wrote: ↑12 Apr 2024, 21:13 I also read that Marshall was fined £250 as part of the incident for being the suspended player. On his day he can be a good defender but let’s be honest the guys been a total calamity! Shocking disciplinary record and stinking attitude toward the fans in pressured situations.
As much as this is the secretary’s and clubs fault I also blame marshall for being totally unaware of his own personal situation and not flagging it up! Utterly useless on and off the pitch…don’t want to see him around the club again!
But on this latest fiasco it sums up how Mickey Mouse this whole set up is. An absolute shambles and this point could still cost us relegation

Archer the only one worth keeping in my opinion.
Maybe Lovett if we cannot get better.
The rest can escape TQ1 in the knowledge that they have succeeded in taking OUR once proud club to this.
On a positive has a loanee who joined in Feb ever been awarded the Player of the Year ?
AJB gets my vote as he has shown more passion, guts and commitment than most of the others.

Roy Keane comment on Haaland as a League 2 player after his inept showing v Arsenal. I wonder what league he would judge the likes of
Ash, Jarvis, PingPong and Collins ?

11 goals 7 of which were penalties !Taelee73 wrote: ↑09 Apr 2024, 18:53 Tad harsh on Jarvis.
No service apart from hoof ball and he's up around the 11 goal mark, this after a really good season recently as well. I do agree he's looked less interested this season.
As for the club making a statement, why doesn't he make a public one ? I guess he has Twitter and all the rest.
Hoofball and he rarely wins a header from a Halstead punt.
Agree on a statement from somewhere though

Respect your view Culmstock I have never rated him that highly. You only have to look at his career goals scored to see he was a risk signing. Relegation with Scunthorpe before he arrived here and then the same fate last season with us.culmstockgull wrote: ↑09 Apr 2024, 16:35 I think you are being a tad hard on Jarvis, the injury he had before christmas could have been a career ender, and he inflamed the same injury a month ago , so I am not surprised for obvious reasons that he is taking it easy, Although I would love him to stay I suspect after the Havant game he will be up the A303 never to be seen again so why jeopardize a decent contract somewhere else for the sake of three games.
He has hardly set the world on fire apart from the penalty spot this season again.
Overrated and injured or not has added very little to help our relegation battle. His mindset is elsewhere and has been all season. Be interesting to see what he does with better service though maybe he will be able to stay on his feet !

Nobody cares about Jarvis he spends more time injured on current form and goals scored AJB will overtake him on goals scored by the season end.UnitedinDevon wrote: ↑09 Apr 2024, 11:43 I watched the stream and they randomly zoomed in near our bench in the 2nd half and he was there chatting away
On Facebook one poster put up a comment saying he spoke to Jarvis who said he was injured and hopeful to play Saturday, hasn't signed for anyone and is frustrated at the rumours and that the club haven't quashed them
Spot the difference one is a full back on loan with passion and the other is a Marquis signing !

Marshall has been a liability and has proved this time and time again.
Just what you don't need in a relegation battle. A total loose cannon, hopefully as now suspended we can have seen the last of him.
Good Riddance

Truro were under notice (therefore effectively legally homeless as in the definition of someone who needs to register for social housing) well before Masters paid fifty grand to keep them in business.
They were very much in business when he sold them. That is not 'leaving them in a mess'
The failure of Cornwall County Council to build the S4C is well documented; it is nothing to do with Masters or any of Truro's subsequent owners for that matter.
Your moronic refusal to debate properly renders your point of view and latest post idiotic.

Fully agree if he is involved and continues God help us.North Curry House wrote: ↑03 Apr 2024, 23:43 And I read that George Edwards wants to buy the Club.......He is part of the problem, we need him to F**" off NOW. Part of the lying owners attempt to secure the ground. Thank goodness the council said no!
He will likely bring in who he considers to be in his opinion the best one to manage at this level !
And nothing will change.
