Dorking v Torquay

Dorking manager is correct it is a shit league and these are the standards in it. But can we get out of it ?
That’s the question. This was a gritty no nonsense performance after Salisbury and a deserving 0-1 away.
We would have all taken this after Tuesday night.
Excellent 3 points all things considered, but yes Dorking looked a far better side at Plainmoor earlier this season. Fact.

Dorking v Torquay

Now if we cannot beat Salisbury ?
A 1-1 here at best.
No five out of ten performances required by anyone please.

Torquay United v Salisbury, Tuesday 11th March ko7.45pm

We have made Salisbury yes Salisbury look like Title contenders ! Very very lucky to get a draw. You can only paper over the cracks for so long. It has been apparent for some time. When the players are not playing or listening to his game plan as he states in post match… you have to ask Why ????

Wotton loves a 1-0.
It’s now become a 9 game season.
Expect a win v Salisbury to turn the heat up. Next Saturday
Will be the real test on the artificial shit pitch.

Torquay v Boreham Wood Sat 1st March 3pm

Abbotgull wrote: 02 Mar 2025, 14:15 That would completely undermine the manager. Warnock is here to help advise the board in football matters. Having Warnock involved in training would be saying to Wotton we don't think you are the best person here to do the job.
Not sure anybody at the club would have the balls to say or do that. He needs to be judged at the end of the season.
Do the owners consider the play offs a success ?
I am sure MBC doesn’t . All the we only had one player can only be an excuse for so long.
Ash, Seymour, Tomlinson have been replaced with much better quality proving signing those 3 has proven costly. I was told that Ash has another year 🙄
God help us. We need a leader and have done since September it is clear for all to see. A captain on the bench will rarely win you a promotion .

Same old repeat performance.
I could see that coming as we foolishly fell deeper and deeper towards Devon Road as we do.
Wood must have had 80% of the 2nd half possession. We have too many weaklings in the side and as I have said before we need a strong tackling leader since September.
That leader certainly ain’t Threkeld . Carson is far too weak for this level of football everybody can see this.
Credit to Wood who never gave up and dictated the press.
It feels like a loss and 2 points in 9 is far from title winning form.
Play offs at best, needs to be a home tie as the thought of away on any plastic and it’s Goodnight Vienna.

Not confident at all about this one sadly.
Think best we can hope is a 1-1 unless we can really step up.
Previous run of results for us I cannot see any change as we cannot put in a performance 🎭
