Well done lads. A comfortable game turned into an edge of the seat thriller!
Defensively good until woking scored then it became a mess. Attack wise quite good all game i enjoyed 3 up front with the wing backs. Quite positive. Luke Young was superb all game, broke up play and passed really well, started a lot of attacks. Liam Davis was very good also.
I think 4 wins & a draw should hopefully get us safe. Big big challenge with 6 huge games to come.
What a goal from Connor L-Evans.

I think we need another central midfielder too,
Can't see lathrope staying injury free, we could do with someone like a Danny racchi

FA Trophy - Bromley *Ticket Prices Reduced*
Well done to the club for having the sense in dropping prices, floaters like myself who cannot make every home game will have more incentive to go, especially with such a good drop and kids for a quid is always great.

Woah that no 7 will be well remembered for running rings around our chubsters(briscoe is only 'chubster'we have) for years to come.
Forget the 0-5 , let's hear it for the no 7

Who we got in next round?
Excellent result for momentum. Clean sheet too. Let's hope we make it 3 wins on trot at braintree. Hope angus is ok or we got problems

Mansell had 2 good seasons at best. Crap aside of that.
Can't say I miss his awful distribution. He had 2 abysmal seasons since the 13!!!(freak) goal season.
Thankfully he went and we have luke young, MASSIVE difference.
I reckon we will draw at plainmoor and win at rovers, like last season

Its either gotta be a strong side if we really want to win for sake of momentum, or weak as possible to rest players and go out of fairly pointless cup.
If they draw is it replay or extra time?

I suspect if we failed to win, the ref wouldn't be getting these reasonable comments. He completly BAILED the red card that should have been given for the awful challenge on luke young. Anyway well done the lads on a good win. Well fought and 2 brilliant team goals with slick play

Pearce at fault on both goals conceded. Decent player but always makes mistakes hence why he plays for us! A poor mans jon gittens. He is vastly overrated by our fans

Alfreton Town v Torquay United – Saturday 11th October 2014
i think everyone is seeing it the same way. There are several players not upto playing for a conference side aiming for promotion.
Rice, tonge, wakefield arent good enough for this. Cruise is 50/50 - capable with ball but is not good defensively. Pearce has to be dropped, downes and mcdonald are our best bet.
Cameron isnt working out of late, is he up for the fight?
Really think wakefield should be sent back and a loan right back is brought instead.
CH and the lads owe the fans a performance and 3 friggin points on saturday

Rice played that final. He saved mcphee's penalty then conceded the rebound...i thinkGlostergull wrote:By the time this final comes around. That will be7 years. I find it amazing that anyone is still around in any sort of playing capacity, given that most players never stay that long at any club. Ch was player then. but he isn't now so i don't count him. Ricey never played much then, He may play now. Benyon. was the only one in the team to play and he may not feature this season. You never know though. Ch was apparently signed on as Player Coach then. but we all know how accurate Wiki is.
Interestlingly enough. Out of the teams in the conference that year. we are the only team to have tasted league action and then come back down. Out of the teams that year 8 have been in the league and 7 are still there.
11 of the teams have since been relegated and 2 dont even exist any more. and some of those relegated are not in the conference.
