New Revenue ideas?

wbw wrote: 11 Mar 2024, 21:57 It's nothing to do with her or anyone else's ability.
If the gaffer, whose money it is, budgets for a £1 million loss each year, the employees under his control just get on with it.
Absolute nonsense but on a par with your usual pathetic responses. The sooner the club is run by sensible people with good business accumen the better.

New Revenue ideas?

wbw wrote: 11 Mar 2024, 10:59 Lots of professional people already do 😏
With losses averaging 20k a week over a period of years some are clearly not good at their job. Mel Hayman should resign ASAP.

New Revenue ideas?

wbw wrote: 10 Mar 2024, 21:12 Been called lots of things, but never a troll before lol. Just giving opinion, agree with it or not, it's up to you....but at least try and be polite.
Irony at its best. If you can't take it don't dish it out.

You're obviously OK with getting behind a man who has a history of despicable 'successes' to the detriment of various sporting institutions just like he would have happily seen become us. We're not shot of him yet but I'll personally be happy to be shot of him. Long live TUFC.

From a security perspective it's done at a lot of events. Having dealt with injuries to people at festivals etc I can see why it's done even though I dislike it on a personal level.

Don't worry about it mate, I've set my account to just delete them automatically. If you ever need me you'll have to call or text me 😉

I know we both long for the day he exits. Fingers crossed he doesn't burn you twice 😉

Like you I fear nothing has changed while the two snakes remain in position. Hissing Hayman should do the decent thing and slither off.

Where's the money going?

wbw wrote: 25 Feb 2024, 21:46 Woefully overspending is not a problem as long as someone foots the bill. Stoke do it, as do Man City, Chelsea and many others.
Unfortunately so did Darlington, Bury, Chester, Maidstone and Aldershot amongst others. Then the funds stopped.
Just for the record, I'm not particularly a fan of Osbourne, but simply making the point that you need to have a plan B, before rejecting plan A
Plan B is already in discussions with Osborne to buy the club. Of course you know that......

wbw wrote: 25 Feb 2024, 21:51 OK, I bow to your superior knowledge.
I wish you bloody good luck if Smurthwaite buys the club....boy will you need it.
I reckon he would fire his accountant if she oversaw losses of 20k a week.......

As I've said previously, he won't do business with Osborne so it's a futile argument.

wbw wrote: 25 Feb 2024, 21:40 Just ask the Kettering fans about Smurthwaite. Ask the Vale fans about him as well. He has one of the worst reputations in football.
Both clubs still going. Ask fans of Reading and Swindon Speedway if they're enjoying their sport.
