Hi Andrew
Is it possible the club could organise some official twitter presence at each home and away gulls game giving updates on what's going on? Alot of other clubs at our level offer this service and its an excellent way to keep up to date with what's going on if you out and about and can't make it to the match.
Thanks for all your hard work for the club, having someone listening to the fans makes a real difference!
Cheers
Tom

Re: three on trial tonight
Ifil has been shown the door by Lingy, no real surprises there. Apparently Baker and Artemi are still on trial and may become development players if signed.
Be interesting to see where the new centre half comes from now...

I can't really see that pie eating trouser dropping referee abusing bar steward up the road in jolly old Rotherham embracing this....

Evans at it again....
Surely got to be the first time this has been investigated by the FA!

Re: McLeod released by Barnet
Reported to have a very bad attitude, not sure he's the kind of character I'd want in my dressing room to be honest. I imagine pretty much every team in the two lower divisions will be interested in securing his services...
IF we did sign him he'd easily be on the biggest wage in the club and would be a very high risk investment. He's scored two goals since Xmas and I imagine would be very unwilling to move down here (has spent pretty much his whole career in the London area) Not sure Lingy's cockneyisms can keep him happy so far away from the Big Smoke!
Would he also partner Rene well?
We'd be much better of looking elsewhere to someone a bit less high profile that would fit our system better such as a better Atieno type player

Richard Logan has been released, maybe worth a shout? Proven at this level and but has obvious Grecian connections and probably wouldn't come cheap. Thoughts?

Poke released
Michael Poke has been released from his contract at Brighton
Most likely to end up at Brizzle Rovers but would be a great alternative if we loose Bobby this summer

Did anyone go last night? It would be great to hear who won what...
How was the Hotel? As entertaining as on Channel 4?

Re: Tired Legs
Judging from twitter it appears that the first team stalwarts are doing much training at the moment. From the past two days Manse and Nicho have been in Exeter at 10am and lots of the others are playing lots of golf or going to the gym...
Does anyone roughly know what the usual training routine is?
If this is the case then I think its a very smart move... players don't really need to train much at this stage of the season and this will hopefully shine through when we play the wombles on Saturday

Re: Looking ahead to pre season
I would have said a tour was out of the question economically. I'd imagine its very expensive to put a whole squad up somewhere for a week including travel and we'd earn little revenue from the matches due to low attendance.
I'd be much happier with a bigger playing budget and continuing with the usual format of local games and a few larger teams at Plainmoor. Our team has been together for a long time now so it probably needs to bond less than if we'd cobbled together a load of strangers over the summer!

It's looking like Scott Bevan will be in goal on Saturday as Poke was injured recently. I can't wait to see him flapping a few early balls in the box!

7 more wins for automatic promotion?
Swindon's charasmatic manager Paolo Di Canio reckons that his team need "5 more wins to secure automatic promotion" http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17270393" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.
On the basis we are 8 points behind them this means we will theoretically need 7 more wins or 21 points from 12 games to secure a place in league 1 next season.
Looking at our remaining fixtures
Bristol Rovers - Home
Rotherham - Away
Burton Albion - Away
Swindon - Away
Port Vale - Home
Barnet - Away
Accrington - Home
Oxford - Away
Southend - ~Home
Wimbledon - Away
Crewe - Home
Hereford - Away
Do you think this is achievable?
