Re: Bodin back to Torquay?
PdC says he is close to coming now as well, he then goes on one of his rants!! He also suggests that his dad wants to come as well but that might just be his English being mis-understood.

Re: Demand based pricing?
Probably wouldn't be successful here. At Derby they have the advantage of good crowds normally (as there isn't really much else to do in Derby) and their ticket prices are higher. It doesn't matter how much they put up prices the Forest and probably the Leicester match will sell out, with the fans just getting the feeling they are being ripped off. Also Derby have a number of other localish teams like Sheffield Wednesday just up the M1 and teams in the west midlands. They also have fixtures like Leeds and Millwall who Derby dislike which get big crowds. So there is lots of scope for varied ticket prices. With Torquay its really only Gargoyle, the team from Sid James and the Gasheads that we could even think about raising the prices for without putting people off coming and lowering prices means that there is the possibility of running at a loss for the game.

Darren Moore Released by Burton
Burton have cancelled his contract.

Obviously he would be unlikely get a starting position these days but might be a useful backup, also going for coaching badges which, if what i read on here somewhere about us possibly having a player coach is correct, not a bad man to have!!

Well, not too surprisingly he has been shortlisted alongside PDC and Sanchez.

Re: guy branston
I wouldn't mind seeing him back but maybe only as someone to replace Ellis or Saah if they were injured as Saah will hopefully now come good. Interestingly if not somewhat ironically the new BBC Sport website has a story on the League Two page about how new signing Guy Branston wants to set Bradford buzzing. Still some kinks to iron out on the new website i think!!

Re: one hour!!
Bixie, sounds like you've got something against people from Nottingham, completely understandable of course!! :~Dbixieupnorth wrote:if thats true then i think we're all pretty happy with losing just robbo
well done to the board and mr ling for getting the young hopefuls tied down to long contracts, shame robbo wouldnt sign just to help us out, but he's a notts lad (well known for breaking ranks!!) and his lady is from sheffield, i bet her dad calls him scab!!
Not a bad transfer window for us, at least we didn't lose O'Kane etc.. Robbo was good but i think we can plug that gap and who knows maybe while hes been injured Saah has settled in a bit more. Craig sounds like he could make for a decent player too.

Re: Bodin
According to Sky Sports website from yesterday he still wants to try and get in the Swindon team although he would want to come back if he didn't. Maybe he isn't as disillusioned with life at Swindon as we all thought. Still think he won't get in the Swindon team as Di Canio seems to want to buy in more players instead of using the clubs own talent pool which seems daft to me but i won't complain if we are the beneficiaries!!

Re: Bodin
Just seen Swindon are bidding for Rooney (Luke not Wayne, not even Di Canio would be that cocky). Surely this is yet another player that Di Canio would put ahead of Bodin.

Seen comments on the Swindon local newspaper site that are all saying that he should come back to Torquay for the rest of the season instead of warming the bench, if he can get on it, back there to get experience!!

What a great couple of days!! On his possible move to the states, don't they have strict immigration rules in the US, criminals need not apply and lets face it his record at BR was pretty criminal :~D :~D
