Southport 4-2 up. Shame their new manager wasnt considered worth interviewing for our club.

The problem with this 'journey' though is that its been non stop downs for 4 years solid. I cant think of many other sets of fans who have had its so bad consistently for so long! Its no wonder patience is wearing thin. Obviously the current manager and players will bear the brunt of some of that frustration even though the seeds of our discontent were sown by people from previous regimes.
The fans just need something good to hang onto!

Briscoe subbed due to pie related injury. To be fair he is just as unprofessional aa Hurst. Cant manage 90 minutes due to fitness issues. Disgraceful for a full time player.

The sun is now beating down here at Plainmoor. There is no more rain forecast. It seems to me the ref wants to get home to watch Soccer Saturday.
Why not give it more time. Anyone travelling from afar has already left anyway.

I realise that, I was responding to another posters incredible assertation that he would be good in midfield.
As for Nicho, I have a feeling he may prove the doubters wrong!

Ex in the midfield? No no no no!! The guy is as mobile as a wheelie bin thats had its wheels nicked!
Seriously any team whose game plan is long throws is doomed to failure. Forget the long throws and get someone who can play FOOTball.

I think the issue is not people making their feelings known, rather the people who have stated they wont come to games anymore.
You are certainly entitled to make critical observations, just please keep coming to the games whilst doing so as the club will die if the crowds keep falling.

Pep Guardiola was a rookie manager and ex-player. He did all right .
In all seriousness we have to remember that success is relative and this season a 20th place finish would be a success for us. I see no reason Kev cant achieve that and then build on it next season.
But he needs the supporters to back him. No matter what your feelings on the appointment. If we dont back him and the club then the club is dead. Simple as that.
Time to decide if you want a TUFC or not.

We need to be hard to beat and defend or even having Ronaldo and Messi up top wont help. The strikers arent world beaters but its not the priority . If they had scored 6 today we still would have lost. The first rule of football is a good defence, then you build a team from there.Caldwellanddobson wrote: So. We're alright up front then...

Why the experts on the bench cannot see that Exodus and Briscoe are not fit enough to wear the shirt is beyond me. We will never win with 9 men. Its not much to ask to have players who are physically fit.
This 5 at the back does not work. I am sure a back 4 with Angus, Smith, Butler and a new right back would work better. The reason I say new right back is that I believe Hurst should play as a winger, the guy is electric.
The other concern is the midfield. We need some steel in there.

The Premier League has a lot to answer for. Everyone now expects their team to win every game, sweeping the opposition aside. This is totally unrealistic. We have a new team with a manager who actually knows what he is doing, but as we are not top of the league then we are in crisis? You have to have PATIENCE, Rome wasnt built in a day.
The club hasnt got a big budget so we cant expect to be challenging for promotion. Support your club and stop moaning every time we lose.
