I'll do the decent thing on this bitter cold night . . . . . I'm staying home in the warm to watch the England game.

£1 for pensioners (and students etc.) is a good deal, assuming they can afford a thick pair of socks, gloves, scarf, balaclava and overcoat....!!

Trojan, you should get down there - think of the extra drinking money you will have with the savings on entrance fee

does this count as a professional fixture ?? if it does then will this count as cruises' suspension match ?? as I'm pretty sure that previously we have had players suspended and unable to play in these sort of games ?? does this make any sense to anyone ?!?!
The gulls are going up

Fairly sure it's not, didn't we have someone suspended a few years ago who couldn't count the Devon Bowl as one of their suspended matches? Might have been Branston?gullno4 wrote:does this count as a professional fixture ?? if it does then will this count as cruises' suspension match ?? as I'm pretty sure that previously we have had players suspended and unable to play in these sort of games ?? does this make any sense to anyone ?!?!

Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Oi ! Gerney ! I'm donkeys years away from dribblin' in me soup !
As it happened, I saved the whole £3 entrance fee and got myself 12 x 440ml cans of 2.1% Tesco bitter.

Did anybody go last night, I was wondering how the young lad Hutchings did playing next to Downsey. On the commentary they said he looked a real prospect ?
