Disaster.
was told that clocks went forward. So round the house I went to put them all right.
1st clock. ditital. Unplugged it and it went out. Yup I forgot it needed the electricity to wrk it. Took quite a few minutes to correct it.
2nd clock at top of hall. Grandfather clock. pulled chain a bit too hard. it came undone in my hands. Damn. how will I explain that to family.
3rd clock on mantlepiece. Grabbed hold of it and promptly dropped it. Clanged on hearth and broke. in pieces. no chance there.
4th watch on wrist. Pulled out winder and out it came, all the way.
5th clock. I am very wary this time. It''s mounted on the wall about 5 feet off floor. behind sitee. Got on chair and reached over. Chair slipped over sideways I wobbled unremittingly and fell sideways opposite to the way chair fell. I landed on top of dog which howled in protest. Bit my arse and shot out of the living room at the speed of sound. I lay in heap on floor as clock came off the wall and lnded on top of me, bounced and went through the glass door of the display unit wrecking my wifes favourits porcalien figurines. I am now looking for a fake passport to escape the country with assumed name to go into permenant hiding from wife.
I am only glad I didn't have a delorean. Changing the clock in that car and I could have gone 300 years into the past
Next time. I stay on old time. Summer time can go and wind itself out of existance as far as I am concerned
