who has had a bet on us to go down??

Post by bixieupnorth »

sorry for mentioning the evil b word again SG, but ive seen it mentioned in several other threads that some people had back us to go down at various points in the season, at various prices. and also the advice to out £100 on us now to pay for the season ticket for next season if we were to succumb.

obviously none of us would want us to go down, and i know that lucy for one has had some grief for doing just that!

i was just interested in compiling a list of who has, and maybe who wouldve if they had the money

myself, i've had a tenner at 16s and am sorely tempted to have some more at 10/3 before ko at gillingham
still keeping the faith

I've not had a bet as i haven't enough money to make it worth my while as a single. If i had a hundred quid knocking about i'd not hesitate to put it on us going down at 7/2. Like i said in another thread, you all need to give me some cash to bet on it as then we are GUARANTEED to stay up!
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

I put £20 down at 33/1 back in mid-February.

Didn't someone get 80/1 somewhere a few months back? Cracking odds though at 33's if it comes off. I'm sure you don't want it to though? :)

I would gladly lose the bet. I'm hoping I do.

Yeah I had a tenner on 80/1. Not proud of it but had a gut feeling it could happen
